I find the insidious nature of the extreme Left far less tolerable than the far Right simply because they try to disguise what they're doing as "moral compass".

Both extremes seek to control free thought, freedom of expression and speech. Both use censorship to force their standpoint. Both are weak and building on quicksand. Sooner or later both extremist ideologies will collapse.

It's about 2000 years since a power as grotesque as the USA tore itself apart because of internal disquiet. The British Empire stepped back from the colonies and restructured into a Commonwealth of Nations that are linked by history. America, meanwhile, inherited the desire for empire after the Revolutionary War in 1776 and hasn't grown up yet. After 1945 they got involved in Korea - and are still there. Vietnam was a major clusterfuck. Iran, Iraq, Israel, Afghanistan, basically anywhere the self-appointed bastions of "decency" could they stuck their noses in. But their own house is made of cards and it's falling.

I just hope it collapses quietly and takes Russia with it without destroying the rest of the planet...

She was allowed to say whatever she wanted but she also had to ripe the consequences of doing so, people hated her and didn't take her seriously.
