Is the USA becoming too socially progressive?

The government is not really socially progressive but the citizens especially young women are becoming too radical for my liking.

I doubt anything in the United States is socially too progressive (apart from the gender nonsense). Recently I have been reading about workers having to sue their employers because these denied them the right to sit! Something that workers had successfully fought for more than a hundred years ago.

The root word of conservativitism is conserve. In terms of politics look at 30 years ago with rose colored glasses. The reality is time is and will forever push forward.

The people who embrace new times will conquer it. "nessesity is the mother of invention." the people who reject the times will go into a new world with broken ankles. Otherwise we would all be in the stone age.

Not even that extreme. I could move to any country besides Australia, Canada, and a European country and it would be more conservative. Japan would be more conservative.

I said any country besides Canada, Australia, and some countries in Western Europe. China, India, all of Africa, Israel, and the rest of the rest of the Middle East. All of Asia outside of Thailand is more conservative than the USA.

Bad relations between Iran and the US. High kidnapping and harassment rate against Americans. It has a level 4 travel advisory like Ukraine does.

I don’t think Canada is a lot more socially progressive than the US either. Both are more conservative than say Sweden. Canada is pretty conservative about nudity, and drinking, but it’s still more liberal than most of the world outside of Western Europe.

Canada might actually have less tension than the US because people get what they want from the government. It’s likely less divided. You have to deal with the negative attitudes from the roll back of Roe v. Wade here and the anger towards not having healthcare, or a safety net.
