At what point your the bad guy? We can be like Switzerland where they mandate a gun in every service men home but everyone uses gun as young as 10 as a responsibly.  In America it's a right and it's murdering evergone left right and center. Empty the clip and ask questions later. You good sir are a good guy with gun shooting down a bad guy how could another good guy know you from the bad guy? He could by our gun rights should kill you dead to rights knowing as much information as you know. By playing it by ear. I've seen this loop with fist fights but everyone goes home in the end. With guns that dosen't happen. That's the whole gang war loop that conservatives equally hate.

That seems to work in my neighborhood. Everyone has guns. People shoot their guns in their backyards pretty consistently on Sundays. You can hear it miles away. Crime in the area is extremely rare... We live in a metro of roughly a million people. You can leave your doors unlocked for weeks at a time go out of town and no one will break in, take your stuff, or harm anyone. 15 miles away, crime is pretty regular.

Don't let him have one in the first place.

You'd think with all the good gun owners in America that crime would be non resistant, yet it's got one of the highest crime rates in the world. Guns are obviously not a solution.

it is to oppose tyranny, foreign or domestic.

we don't have that in EU so we are bound to call the police if a threat of force is aiming at us that we can't deal with.

problematic if it is the police infringing your rights. which they sometimes legally can.

People need to stop thinking of guns as complicated machines that can simply be regulated away. There will always be bad guys. And there will always be guns. The only question you should be asking is if you end up with your life threatened, do you want the best way to defend yourself or do you want to cower in fear and hope someone else saves you?

A responsible person that has become proficient with their gun and can hit whatever they want to put a hole into.
Can be a man or woman. Even a responsible young person, while in their home that is trained on how to use a firearm!
