When I try to have important conversations with people that can’t be delayed over the phone or in real life, I often get bystanders complaining about me and making hostile gestures cause I’m too loud. It’s always a skinny and young and rich white girl talking to one of her admirers when this stranger comes to complain about me. My theory is, they hate Chinese people and pretend they hate me for being too loud because racism is not condoned in society and might get you banned or fired.
You should not judge strangers for talking intensely cause you don’t know what the conversation is about. Maybe I’m demanding a guy go feed a dependent family who has not eaten in 7 hours, maybe I’m demanding a husband pays off his loan to avoid a jail penalty, maybe I’m angry at my dad cause he refuses to pay his car bill on time, maybe I’m demanding somebody pick up a child from the hospital etc… Only mentally challenged people judge strangers for having loud conversations when they don’t know what they are talking about in their foreign language, it’s most likely an emergency if there is yelling.
