Affirmative Action is what I'm concerned with myself. But perhaps there are others.

do you mean via the Halo Effect where positive traits are attached other positive traits e. g. pretty privilege?

in some cases it can be wrong i. e. women getting lighter sentences/punishments for the exact same crime as men or handsome convicted felons getting released from prison via petitions and love letters

Sonia Sotomayor said that a wise Latina would be a better choice for a supreme court justice, than a white man.
So she was being racist and sexist, and the leftists loved it.

It's positive to the recipients. Joy Reid of MSNBC brags about getting admitted to Harvard because she is black. It's racist as hell, but she doesn't care.
