Is Racism selective?

Or is it more “my race is better”? Or do they select specific races they hate more than others?

I just read about Nazi diplomat Heinrich John Rabe who saved tens of thousands of Chinese in the Nanking massacre…and Japanese diplomat Sugihara Chiune who saved thousands of Jews in Lithuania massacres. (Biggest shrug ever)

Both countries they served (Axis partners in WW2), and probably they themselves, were quite racist and nationalist.

Just a weird story arc opposite the holocausts on both continents.

Both weren’t hardliners, but neither would be called liberal.

You gotta understand racism isn’t born. You take a white boy black boy latino boy and an Asian boy and never taught them there a difference between races they will not care about someone’s race but they would look at them as individuals. Yes there will be questions like “why is that boy lighter skinned than me” or “why is that boy darker than me”. You teach the kids it’s pigment in the skin they just know there a difference in pigment because they’re all the difference there is between the boys. They will accept that and continue playing.

racism needs to be taught if a latino boys mother says “we can trust those people not to rob us”. And she is talking about the Asian family. The boy will grow up to be racist again Asians. If she says the same thing but she means white or black that child will be racist against white and/or blacks. So racism is taught you teach a kid to be racist you will produce a racist. You teach you kid there the same as you with a different in pigment the kid wouldn’t care. If you teach the kid to hates Jews black white and Latinos then that Asian boy will be racist to all the those races. Racism isn’t selective as if you point to a race and said I hate that group. It’s a taught action. Through parenting culture and society in general

Racism is taught you get a parent who is white and hates black people their kids will hate block people. You have a parent who doesn’t care about race the child isn’t going to care either he’ll go play with all the other boys without caring about race.

It can certainly. I love Japan I’ve been for an extend period of time in Japan. They either love me by handing me and umbrella when I choose to walk through a monsoon for free just because I said fuck it I’m from washington state let’s do this, the store owner charged me down to give me an umbrella (which broke within the first 5 minutes) but still I love that man to this day I will never forget that. Or on its a giigin a foreigner almost got into a fight there because I bet a guy in Tekken multiple times. Where does the buck stop?

Baby, racism is one of the most fucked up things out there, and it's definitely selective. Some people think they can pick and choose who they want to hate, just because of the color of their skin. But you know what? We're all the same when we're naked and fucking. We're all human, and we all deserve to feel pleasure and love. I don't think it's about race, I think it's about compassion and connection. Something trips in the persons mind that pushes them to take the risk, they see the humanity, potential, maybe the associate to them in some way. In these cases, people are putting their lives on the line.

It's a heart. why they have a heart for some scenarios and not others, requires some thought.

I think you could go into the animal world and say the same. Some people eat dogs, some will save them. Some eat cows... others revere them as sacred.

i think hatred can be individual. and that can spread

when that same hate build up it causes a stigma if they encounter similar circumstances within that community of people

What you're confused about is the politics and policy of government or others, is not necessarily the will and morals of the individual.

There were serial killers who were very good to neighbours and friends. Gangsters and hit men that were perfect husbands and uncles.

It's why things like racism, sexism and republicanism are detrimental to individuals.

Depends. Racism comes in a huge range of types. It can be people who just assume their race is better - maybe not really hating the other races. It can be people who want to exterminate one group. Lots of variation.
