1. Trump is an indicted felon and therefore ineligible under the House rules.
2. Although technically the Speaker doesn’t have to be an elected member, it would be highly unusual for it not to be. The GOP caucus recognize that.
3. The Speaker is a parliamentarian. Trump has neither the interest, knowledge, temperament nor time to carry out the role.
4. The only people who’ve talked about this are Steve Bannon and Fox News to get people riled up, drive up ad revenue, and part with their money. They don’t believe it or take it seriously, and it’s sad that you do.
