Trending & News You mean "Whom"... I believe that's better English.
Convicted of what exactly? Trump inflating the price of his assets? The lawsuit... of what I've heard... makes no sense to me, seriously. Only if he was under reporting taxes would it be a problem to me. Valuing properties wrongly to get loans. Not so sure about that.
Hunter... I don't know what he's in trouble for officially, so cannot say.
Everyone should face consequences of doing something wrong when there is harm and risk done to others and society and especially, if they are at risk of hurting others going forward. Thus dangerous criminals need taken out of society... people whom will hurt other innocents. That has to be weighted against value add of that person. eg. Trump, although deeply flawed in personality, has achieved a lot. Hunter, has not. Biden, apparently received big $ in exchange for no value. Something smells fishy there.. payoffs, $ for influence, etc.. That to me, is most hazardous... corruption, vs someone convincing banks to make loans. Every property has appraisals, can see values in public records, etc..
I bow to your better grammars. Decades of business fraud, obstruction of justice so that he can pretend to still be relevant by giving away US secrets, attempting to overturn the election he lost, sexual assault (rape, in common parlance), and more than a few other things in the 91 charges against him.
And you're saying that because was such a great president he should be allowed to get away with all those crimes, even if convicted in a court of law?
Whom did your boyfriend rape? Allegedly.
he's had a long life eh?
the woman violation already dealt with... what's the sentence? Too bad they couldn't counter sue her for following him into the changing room. Every had a woman follow you in to help you "change your clothes"? Possible to mis interpret. Granted... should not fall into that trap. he should know better than to go after a liberal woman... dumb!
overturn election - not sure the crime, but went too far.
giving away secrets - I have no info on that. Did he sell our uranium to russia for cheap or was that someone else? course, that wasn't a "crime"... were dealing with crimes here. Did he milk Ukraine for $ in secret, take millions for sitting on a board of oil company he added no value to? again, not crimes, just crooked. Not everything or the most corrupt is a law violation.
It's so weird that there were no charges until he ran for president... and won. Otherwise, he was well regarded. All those "MRs America" contestants... not a one apparently was molested... except the chick that followed him into the dressing room. Weird. Was even friends with some democrats. Then they threw the book at him... because he was very dangerous to the system, changed laws to do so... and said they'd stop at nothing. Maybe it's politically motivated assassination? Some of these claims are decades old. If it is... what do ya do with that?
Trump wouldn't defend anyone else, so he's his own monkey and can deal with himself and life. But sure smells like a swamp on a hot day...
Tell me... if lawyers cracked open the books on much of those in power, (or you) how many violations per person... considering tax fraud, inappropriate stoarge of documents (Biden), insider trading, misconduct, mis use of funds, etc.. Has Mrs. Pelosi ever used insider info to bilk undu gains? We don't know and probably should...
He over estimated the value of his businesses when requesting loans from banks. They gotta be kidding me. I don't have all the facts, but WTH? Banks have smart people to value assets and say "no thanks". The people whom made the decisions weren't complaining, the ATTY General is... and she wants him destroyed. gotta be kidding...
p. s. I don't spend all my time reviewing the details. I may not know everything, it's a circus and a waste of time for me. So caveat, I don't claim to know everything...
"He over estimated the value..."
No, he lied about the value. He claimed Mar a Lago was worth twice what it might have been worth had it been available as a private property, but it was only allowed to be a club, which makes it worth far less. And it's a pattern of behaviour and fraud.
he's definitely a BSer... no doubt. So he overinflated the value to whom, and what was the consequence to anyone else?
I have a Dylan Mulvaney, unopened Bud Light can. I'm valuing it at $10,000,000 on ebay... feel free to bid. (joke). Dude... real estate has appraisers... Banks are not stupid...
I don't understand...
Someone you respect and admire said, a year or so ago, that if Trump was keeping two sets of books, "that’s another matter and illegal… fraud…".
Page 33 of the indictment:
"The result was a classic “two sets of books” situation: one internal set of records
reached one conclusion regarding market value, but the figure presented on Mr. Trump’s
Statement was considerably higher:"
s3.documentcloud.org/.../...mons___complaint_1.pdf
Two sets of books... classic fraud. But I could as easily do the same for a property... appraisal is $200k, but on my net worth, it's valued at $300k. I see one offs like trump tower as a different world... one I don't know or claim to understand. How do you value that? PS its the cleanest area in nyc...
Banks are not stupid. They have the smartest of people to value properties. Business people in general... BS each other. It's a game, normal. Banks want their loans paid off, some execs are reviewing and signing off. If they made loans based upon what he said, that is on them.
Like I said... I have a beer can for sale. what's the value exactly? $.05 bottle return fee or $10 million? Valuing things is not easy and I could easily wrote both numbers down...
Now if he's paying taxes on the lower numbers... that's on the tax authority! Idiots! Raise the appraised value and collect back taxes. That makes sense!
We know Trump is a BSer and full of himself. If someone decides to do business with them, it's on them. But he has some skills...
The precident here is substantial... do you have any idea how many cash businesses in nyc are not paying taxes? fraud, mafia, empty buildings, laundering, criminals going free, etc.. They are picking on one person to destroy them to keep them out of power. Unreal.
I think if Leticia combed through new yorks top 5000, 3000 of them... she'd find a crime.
If it's fraud... it will crumble... and those whom made the loans and got involved, should be suing.
It's more pertinent to me Trump didn't pay the guy whom made the pianos for his casino. That he should answer for.
please do not give me biden/harris as the other option... I'm warning you:)
I'm sure there's some aspect of trying to claim unpaid taxes in the quarter billion the state wants from Trump in this suit.
Have you considered which party is funding the IRS to investigate millionaires (the rate they're audited has gone down something like 90% in the last decade), and which one is trying to undo it?
not something I know. put up a vote to audit all members of govt... their finances, stock trades, businesses. Make it fair, all ok with me. Trump said 'drain the swamp', did everyone not realize he was Godzilla? He's been BSing people for decades, including all the chicks that went to his pageants and x wives, etc.. What's wrong with people? When he was running did they know? Before that, when he was their buddy... because he was their buddy... as long as they controlled him.
How did the clintons get 100million, how did Pelosi get so rich, how is congress getting so rich? How did Hunter get a job he's not qualified for? How did Bush sell his stock before the company tanked.
It's all corrupt, you got no argument there from me. You think democrats are trying to clean it up and be fair? If so, you are drinking donkey coolaid.
they are both bad, have been for decades. the right is a little better to me at most. The problem now is imbalance due to decades of theft by way of govt spending and reallocation via inflation and bailouts. Now we deal with the effects. Democrats maybe have upper hand there.
Still when I listen to the two sides argue... I go right.
Ya wanna audit me for my past businesses over 30 years because I run for office and I don't like "your opinions"? That... is a new problem... a bad one...
That's what this is... political persecution. that's my point. The other guy in office... that's different... if they were taking bribes for policy and such, that is very bad... relative to a dude who successfully screwed bankers. not even close.
Republicans don't care about the law and they're not even trying to hide it anymore. They simply don't care. They're literally a fascist cult (without any hyperbolism on "fascist" or "cult"), so what else to expect from them?

Both people of course. I know you're trying to get trumpers to say just Donald Trump but I think even they are not this obvious.
We keep hearing that no one is above the law. Let's see if that's true.
only h. biden because he is not a candidate.
Joe biden if he's used his office to cover it up.
