Why do lefties love Palestine and Iran?

Leftists dont like Iran. They generally like Palestine because the moral argument for supporting Palestine (not Hamas) is childishly simple. From Palestines point of view, foreigners came to their lands and occupied it along with terrorizing your civilians in a number of war-crimey ways.

If we make an analogy, in the Russian-Ukraine war currently going on Israel (and historically speaking Great Britain) would be Russia and Palestine just minding their own business before shit hits the fan would be Ukraine.

They make Disney movies for children with more complex moral dilemmas than this.

not hammas? but the context IS those arabs in gaza... who are hammas long time terrorists, so in this situation a reference to palestinian is supporting promoting terrorism. but some prefer terrorists over israel so they swap words.

Jews are Leftists but the majority of new hardened Leftists are not Jewish so the new Left, not that of 30 years ago, will create anti-Israel policy once they get true power. I do not understand how the Jews continue to vote Democrat and provide them money.

I don’t really care about Israel or Palestine although I don’t like babies being killed on either side. I think 300,000 Israeli soldiers sweeping through the tiny Gaza strip will be something to see though. Hamas leaders may run away which is cowardly as they did this.

I'm not sure if they love Iran, but Palestine, they've been brainwashed into believing that Palestinians are the victims. Liberals always love to get behind a cause to be popular and feel important and Palestine is a hot bottom issue. And it drives Leftists nuts when White people are successful, so they look for any excuse to make White people look bad.

Technically speaking those are actually very conservative areas. In fact before the counteroffensive in reaction to 9-11, almost 100% of the Muslim vote went to Bush.

Palestine and Iran see the West’s lefties as ‘Useful Idiots’, and the West’s lefties love seeing themselves as the ‘White Saviours’ of myth, but they do little of value.
