Prisons should be sorted by biology, not this delusional concept of gender identity that sexual predators can and are taking advantage of. 50% of trans-identifying inmates are sex offenders, so that should tell you all you need to know about these sick weirdos. It's quite simple. A "trans woman" is a man and he should be sent to a prison for men. And a "trans man" is a woman and she should be sent to a women's prison.

It's complicated. I think the current practice is based on external genitalia, so a pre-surgery trans person would go to their assigned-at-birth gender prison, and a post-surgery trans person would go to their identified gender prison.

Some prisons do allow trans people to continue receiving medical care while incarcerated, but I'm not sure if a prisoner would be moved to the other gender prison if they receive surgery while incarcerated.

I'm also not sure about trans people who chose the surgery that preserves their birth genitals, as they'd be in the same situation as an intersex person with ambiguous genitals, and I'm not sure how those kind of intersex people are assigned a prison either.

I mean, I think it'd be great if they can be placed with the gender they identify with. But reality is they'd be targeted if so. They're targeted if not, too, though.

If trans women present as female or have already had the surgery, they should go to women's prison. Trans men is a tough call because, in a women's prison, they COULD try to fuck other women there but, in a man's prison, if anyone there finds out they're trans, they'll get raped left and right because they still have a pussy.
