+1 yI have a moderate stance.
I believe it’s not black and white and very case-by-case in terms of what should be done.
Like, a 14 year old girl that was raped by her uncle should not be forced to carry the baby.
But neither should a perfectly financially independent women in her 20’s be recklessly having unprotected sex and getting abortions for convenience.
Abortion is serious. And there are instances when I do and instances when I don’t condone it — it’s always very contextual.30 Reply

+1 yI must be pro-life (anti-abortion), as I'm a Christian believer, & Christianity has been consistently pro-life anti-abortion for its entire 2,000-year history. There are numerous other reasons, which I might elaborate on in a future My Take.

So are you for a young child going crazy over being forced by gun to head (figuratively) having birth father's child?
- +1 y
@Mansearching: If you can get pregnant you are no longer a young child.

@KC-Sunbeam. A 13 yr old isn't a young child?
- +1 y
@Mansearching : Nope. Among Jewish people, a boys' 13th birthday is celebrated with a Bar Mitzvah, where he officially becomes a man. A girl's 13th birthday is celebrated with a Bat Mitzvah, where she officially becomes a woman.

And if you have sex with a 13yr old you're a child molester.
- +1 y
And you should go right straight to death chamber for molesting and raping a child.

@Mansearching: The question was NOT about rape. It IS about being pro-life or pro-abortion (pro-murder). Murder is murder, don't try to worm your way out of it.

I’m capable of being a fool but I elect not to be. You choose to put everything you believe in in a book you were raised to believe is absolute and reject anything that may challenge that belief. That close mindedness makes you dim and leads to situations like this, where you would rather defend rape than accept a moral question that is not absolute.

How am doing that? I'm not the one's raping 13yr olds a forcing them to give birth with a gun to their heads.

So is the act of force. In which you forcing a 13yr old to give birth to her brother/sister.

@KC-Sunbeam. Ever seen the effects of incest? Or even the effects of the victim of rape having to give birth to a something she never wanted?
Or are you going to say its the 13yr olds fault or the woman's fault? - +1 y
- +1 y
@Mansearching: Ever see a bloody mutilated aborted baby's corpse? So there. And it doesn't matter who's fault it is. You're not entitled to murder because someone did you wrong.

No i haven't. Never been to a clinic that does that procedure. But I have seen a baby of incest. Not pretty. The mother had to pull plug or it would've been in pain until it died. Wouldn't survive. Was done 1hr it was born. Mother still in mental hospital after 30yrs.
If she terminated the pregnancy, she could be married and then have normal kids. So you tell me. What's right and not. - +1 y
You anti-abortion law or pro-life law put her in a mental hospital. Thank you right wing.

@Mansearching: I just got a nasty message from GaG administrators lying & saying that a question of mine was trolling/spam. I will NOT be treated as an inferior being. So, I won't answer until they rectify it or explain themselves. If they don't, I will both pull the plug on GaG and abort GaG. Nobody here will ever hear from me again.

+1 yI'm torn on the matter. I know if I got pregnant now I would 99% probably be pro-choice but there's that 1% that still screams pro-life. I'm not sure what I would really do but I think I would get an abortion.

+1 ygotta be rational here, pro choice is the way. You should seriously prepare (have a solid place to live) and make your mind if you're even capable (psychologically, healthy lifestyle, financially etc) if you want to have a child. Having a kid by accident is in my opinion worse than abortion
10 Reply 26.4K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I think pro choice but there needs to be some kind of determination as to when a fetus becomes a baby. It is more than 6 weeks but less than 9 months.

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yThere's a lot of people suffering with mental problems and the Christians that are pro-life don't care about the parents situation or the child.
Some kids get born with terminal and have a painful and agonizing existence the Christian will just say "you must endure" and walk away. Most Christian pro-lifers don't give a shit about the lives and just let people needlessly suffer.

+1 yEverything in life is choice. There is no such thing as "pro-life". Either you choose to keep or not to keep. Only conservatives will force birth on a woman or young child.
