Completely agree. Just an experiment to see what worked, what didn’t. What they can do next time to make everyone comply. Event 201 happened just months before that bs. To think people walking around w mask because they said it would protect you. That’s a bunch of nonsense. I work in the medical field. If I can smell shit walking down the hallway w 3 mask on, they’re not working. Who had the influence and power to foot that bill? What did they gain from it? If majority of the richest people alive assets are stocks how do they earn money by destroying the stock market? even Buying property real-estate that is currency dropping like an ancor today. I think governments fumbled through it but it wasn't an experiment. What it did do however is give them valuable data on how people behave. What percentage comply, how many bend the rules and how many aggressively ignore them etc
When something more serious comes along hopefully they'll have learned enough from covid.

No. But I do think it was a dry run for the eventual much more deadly pandemic that WILL eventually hit us. So it taught us what we need to do better next time. I suppose it that respect you could call it a social experiment.
