What do you think of men being drafted into war if we go into ww3?

Hopefully it doesn’t come to that.


But, if it does, I hope that whoever we are told to fight against is really someone we should be against.


Politicians shouldn’t start wars that they aren’t prepared to hypothetically lead themselves on the frontlines.


If they feel that strongly about being at war, to fight for a cause that’s important enough to die for, then alright.


But, if the war is over something stupid like money or leverage or resources, nobody wants to just be a pawn to be sacrificed for no real good reason.


Call me old fashioned, but I think men are more built for war than women. And it’s the duty of men to protect their women and children.


BUT, it’s important for the lives of those who go to war to be valued, and not treated as mere pawns. If war is going to be fought, there better be a really good reason — a reason strong enough for the leader of the country to be willing to die for.


Like in the days of old — kings would always fight alongside their men on the battlefield.


It’s honorable to lead by example. If you’re going to ask your men to die for you — be willing to die for your men too.

i don't think it's going to happen. i don't think ww3 is likely to happen. ww1 was in the 1910s, ww2 was about 20 years later. it's almost 100 years since and we aren't closer to ww3. i think the world realizes (even if the leaders don't say it) that ww3 would effectively lead to mutual destruction

i think everyone should be drafted. men for the jobs that need physical strenghth and girls for jobs the other military stuff as well as support jobs like shipping food or being nurses. l think in this day and age would be unfair just to draft the dudes

I'm for a short term draft but for men and women. hears why the enlistment rates are down we are stretch so thin across the world bc we have to have our hands in everything instead of taking care of our own like we should be doing and men and women now adays don't know anything about respect for thereselves or others and discipline.

You do realize if we nuke someone, we will be nuked right back. Even if the country we hit doesn't have any. Other countries will use it as an excuse to use them on us or through means of alliances other countries would be obligated to retaliate.

It’s only necessary when we don’t have enough men that are already enlisted. But they only draft young men that are not in college.
