Does anyone else find cloth masks a little disgusting?

I see people put the masks in their pocket on surfaces etc. Would you eat food out of your pocket? Eat food w no plate? Yet they put the mask right over their mouth?

At the same time life isn't a surgery room and average people aren't trained surgeons. In early 2019 china had a massive shortage of those blue Surgical Mask and ask relatives in America to mail bulk supply. No one picked up the nessesity of supply and demand.

So when the lockdown happened there was no drastic uptick of supply of disposable masks and were scarce for daily ppe in hospitals. The cloth mask was a good stop gap.

People want the guarantees of surgical procedures from medical experts but that's impossible for real world standards. The reality is a little help all together goes a long ways.

pocket is fine because launder clothing but on table is careless. and must wash mask daily and dryer or else bad for mouth. better one use paper like dentist.
