I kinda like it. At first I hated it since I’m living in tropical climate hence all those oily face especially wearing it under the hot sun.
But I begin to like it when it being part of my job since now I have reason to tell others why I need to wear mask. I work in social security where my job required me to visit other people house. I must tell you that some house are better not to be visited.
I don’t know how but some have like
piss smell in the house. Some who are keeping pets don’t even take care of their house properly also have a very bad smell.
I purposely wear KN95 face-mask since it is the more tightly compare to standard face-mask or the popular KF94. But still the smell still make me sometime almost barf when stayed to long.
I know that they are sick and might not have the strength to cater their house but you can see the different between those who have smelly house due to sick (since some just pee on their own bed due to unable to move) or those who have unhygienic lifestyle.
Deaf people are still being driven insane (have YOU taken the last twenty months as an opportunity to learn sign language? Have you at least started carrying around a pencil and paper, so you don't completely obliterate their ability to communicate with you?). Autists, too, in more ways than one. Children are missing valuable social cues, and babies are going to taking huge intellectual hits.
Most pressingly, though, they're worsening the epidemic. Not only does slowing down spread slow down herd immunity, the only way this can end, killing more people, but the lack of exposure to OTHER germs is crippling people's immune systems, so when they DO catch Covid, they're that much less likely to survive it.
The history textbooks of the future are going to have a field day with the response to this crisis.
I feel sad because it seems that we will never get rid of them but at the same time I'm not surprised.
Many people are not taking this pandemic seriously, some think it's over and let's not forget the ones who believe that there's no virus.
They make me feel uncomfortable. Sometimes I want to sneeze and I can't, I get scared whenever I have to take it off just to drink water or eat.
My glasses get blurred, my nose gets uglier and other times I have breathing difficulties because of it.
However I like the fact that I can hide my lips when I don't want to smile and that people can't tell what my reaction is.
I like how when I meet a new guy or someone I've known for awhile, having a mask just makes their eyes look so much better. Something I don't focus on as much when they are not wearing a mask.
I don't like that it seems to be a bit harder to breath, a couple of hours and I can't handle it. I'd rather social distance 20 feet at least from everyone.
No way I can jog with one on, and no way I could go to a job all day for 8 hours with one.
I do like it when people wear them though and start coughing all over the place.

I can finally protect myself from other people's bad breath, I'm never taking this thing off!
I hate them. Like I understand the importance of them and wear one if needed or someone else feels more comfortable with a mask but still I can't stand them and wish them to be gone
I like:
1. Makes other people seem more attractive than they are.
2. I work in healthcare and it dulls the smell of feces, vomit, urine, etc.
3. Not getting COVID and being part of a team/community cooperating together.
4. keeps face warmer
I don't like:
1. Feels stuffy, a little claustrophobic.
2. Not having a realistic idea of what someone looks like.
3. the straps are often too tight and hurt my ears or back of my neck and give me a headache/neckache.
4. Seeing extra mask-litter on the ground, around my harbor, and in nature. Also the amount of extra rubbish it creates in general, since lots of masks are disposable people use a new one every day or multiple per day.
They were a crime against humanity from day one except back then it was a necessary evil.
But with the vaccines we have today I don't understand why it's still a thing.
Some tell me "it's because of the anti vaxxers" but that's bullshit.
People wear seat belts when they drive, but some don't and they put themselves in far greater danger than covid ever will be.
But we never stopped all driving just because someone somewhere is not wearing a seat belt.
All I'm saying is. If they wanna take a chance and gamble with their lives it's on them, as long as the vaccine is made available the job has been done it's time to remove masks , restrictions, and this pointless fear
Dude don’t bother! These people are so deep sleep truth sounds like hocus-pocus to them.
Nobody is wearing them anymore in my area, aside for maybe one or two businesses that still require them (usually national chains based in states with tighter restrictions). I hate political arguments, so will keep my opinions on that to myself, lol.
As for wearing them, I absolutely hate it. There is still one place I work in that requires them, and because it is so hot and humid inside in the summer, it was extremely hard to breathe, but thankfully is not as bad now. However, they have been causing my face to break out around my mouth ever since they were first mandated here because my skin is very sensitive. Washing my face doesn't help, either. I'm very sick of my skin being irritated. I would be so happy if I never saw another mask again in my life!
It was fundamentally misused from day 1 and continues to be, tho to a lesser degree. What they should have done which I said from day 1 was to quarantine just sick people and at risk people.
Let those not at risk deal with others and allow for natural immunity, quarantine along the way as people catch it. Once enough people get it and recover herd immunity will naturally be attained which allows at risk people to return to normal
Devastating the economy to only now 2 years later have it proven natural immunity is radically better than any vaccine developed (that requires boosters and they changed the definition to include it) in 2 years time.. was not ideal
But hey, cryptocurrency is doing better now because of that stupid decision so I can't be too mad
They're pointless, they actually make you sicker, they're bad for your heart and even doctors say they hardly do shit! If your underwear isn't gonna stop you from being able to smell your farts, how is this face diaper gonna stop a virus from getting to you? Besides, it can still get into your eyes and, at least 75% of the people I see "wearing" them either use them as chin straps, chin bras or only cover their mouth and leave their nose out so, what's the bloody point? Sweden (I think) hasn't been using them and their covid numbers are WAY lower than ours!!
I hate to have to wear a mask myself but with the cost of lives died due to COVID it's either I wear the mask or risk getting sick or being exposed to COVID also I have been around these people who so-call was sick with COVID also I pray to Jesus to
keep me healthy but I can't depend all on Jesus as soon as the lockdown was
lifted and people were told they no longer needed to use mask well there is
people who out there do not care what happens and it is sad, just to think
those people do exist and then more people are dying and this is scary
I believe that Scientists and doctors when never know enough about this
I do believe that bats escaped from that lab and bit swine ( pigs) and
bats also escaped the labs too so yes this is why we should all wear a
mask I refuse to go and eat in restaurants I order take out or pick up only
i'm still waiting for the studies that proof there's a corelation between wearing the masks and positive health outcomes. i highly doubt that there is. i believe the masks just help the indoctrination and of people and keep them in fear. they are more a forced symbol of acceptance of the current globally propagated political view that you are not allowed to reject or even question.
i'm not a conspiracy theorist. i'm going by scientific evidence. and all scientific evidence points towards wearing the masks not only being bullshit but actually doing more harm than good.
Not accurate in any way shape or form. You talk about scientific evidence yet fail to grasp a basic understanding of science.
@bigjoemonger I'm talking about the lack of scientific evidence. Show me the evidence and stop talking crap.
You literally said "all scientific evidence points towards" masks doing more harm than good. Now you're saying there's a lack of scientific evidence. Make up your mind. Who's the one talking crap?
@bigjoemonger I'm talking about clinical hygiene scientists. Before 2019 we knew that masks don't help with viruses on a societal level. Only in a hospital environment in the context of a clinical hygiene regiment. This is well established science. Outside of a strict clinical hygiene regiment, masks actually increase your risk of infection generally speaking. This is not something that is controversial at all.
When we speak about corona specifically, everyone and their uncle claims that wearing masks in public settings reduce the spread. But there's no science that actually backs that claim. And that's what I'm still waiting for. Can you deliver that? If not, there's no point in talking to me for you, cause you're just wasting my time.
Well I had about 10 links to different peer reviewed studies, all indicating clearly that yes even the worst implementation of mask usage during a pandemic is still better than no mask at all. Stanford, Yale, National Institute of Health, JAMA, The Lancet, The Mayo Clinic. All published within the past year.
Unfortunately this app won't let me post links. So I'll just say this. You have access to Google. Learn to use it.
@bigjoemonger You have to touch the mask to take it off, also the virus is capable of going around all masks, and going through most of them, because masks aren't airtight seals, and the holes between the fabric threads are larger than both the virus and the moisture particles that carry them.
Even without considering all of that, if a person coughs on your face, it ends up on your whole face, which, mask or not, it then has access to your nostrils and mouth and eyes, because it landed on your cheeks.
@bigjoemonger you think i trust google? you think google is a neutral platform that doesn't profit from the propaganda?`you think google is free to show you neutral information? you think what google shows you is not influenced by who paid tp push the information up? how can you be so naive. google isn't "science". stop wasting my time telling me how science works, when you have no idea what you're talking about.
I flat out hate wearing masks, especially at work for 8hrs a day. I feel bad for workers working longer indoors. It ruins facial expressions to others. Makes things awkward too when I'm smiling at someone but they can't see that so it just looks like I'm awkwardly looking at them.
Whenever my mask is off while I'm eating, drinking, etc indoors my face feels naked. If I forget my mask isn't on indoors, it feels like I'm breaking the law.
In the gym it's harder to breathe and makes my workouts take even longer to finish. Of course the fogging up my glasses is super annoying every time 😡.
Selfies from cute girls with their masks on aren't good pictures in my opinion. I wanna see her face, not a mask blocking majority of her face.
So tired of these masks 😭☹️💥
People hated seat belts when they first came out and there were lots of "scientific studies" talking about how seat belts are useless.
Same thing with masks. Even though doctors have been wearing masks for over a hundred years because of its proven effectiveness at reventing them from infecting their patients. Now because the public has to wear them, suddenly they're ineffective. Complete and utter BS.
The only reason they're "ineffective" is because people don't wear them properly, don't understand their purpose and just plain don't like them. People like that think anything they don't like is automatically bad for them.
Well before humans started applying changes in medical practice people died a lot more frequently than they currently do.
The human immune system is great but nature doesn't care about how many people must die to get through a crisis, people do care.
If this were 1800, you would have probably died 30 years ago. I would likely be about to die. Thanks to advancements in medical practice and changes in how we live, we've manage to more than double our average life expectancy.
Sure the best thing for the species probably, would be to just let the virus opemly take its course. It would take its toll burn itself out and the survivors would come out better equipped to handle that virus. But how many would die in that process?
Anti-vaxxers and covid deniers like to throw around the 98% survivability. But that number is only valid with modern medical intervention. About 5% of infected are hospitalized and survive thanks to medical help. Overload hospitals and they run out of supplies and that survivability quickly drops to around 92-94%. Add on top of that the tons of people who die from other illnesses and injuries who now can't get the help they need because hospitals are trying to treat covid people. Now maybe you're looking at 10% of the population dead. In the US alone that's over 30 million people. In the world that's 790 million, 30 times the amount killed in the Black Death, 15 times that of Spanish flu, 10 times that killed in WW2.
Think of the current impact the virus has had. They would literally be piling bodies up in the streets. Are you starting to grasp how quickly this shit can spiral out of control?
Oh but it's OK, because you don't want to wear a mask.
No, I know what I'm talking about being I'm educated and can think critically
I feel they are still very important to wear at this time. I have asthma, and I'd rather live than die. I am fully vaccinated and waiting for my booster, but I've just taken the flu vaccine and I dont feel so great--so I'm waiting till I am better. What I dont understand are the people I see everywhere with the mask covering all but the nose. ? Why wear one if at all then? The nose has openings called nostrils, people! Germs go in there. Have some sense.
I'm going to be honest. Wearing them at work it's compulsory due to the nature of the role. Under normal circumstances I dont have to talk lots with them on. I sit and work. When the procedure is over I can take them off.
Since covid I've had to wear them full time and my brain can't cope with the lack of oxygen being anaemic already doesn't help. So I'll be glad to not need them again as it's a massive strain on my body and mental health
I don't care much. Things are pretty relaxed here if I'm on a bus and wanna eat a sandwhich I'll just do it and nobody cares. But otherwise I do wear the mask on public transport and in stores. I don't mind it. It's even nice in winter cause it keeps my face warmer. In the beginning it did feel weird to breathe but now I don't notice the difference much anymore.
I absolutely hate it, makes it uncomfortable to breathe, go out, go to work, just uncomfortable in general to be in public. Really miss the times when I could go out and breathe free air and not through a thin piece of fabric that's virtually useless now.
I don't wear them, even though they have mandated them here since Tuesday.
And I'm disappointed by the people around me. 'I don't like wearing them, but don't want any conflict or want to be challenged.'
Same mentality is going to keep this going for ever.
I don't like ANYTHING about them. A-hole Apple Co. is MAKING us wear them, even though our payroll is our company's payroll. Also, the C. D. C came out a few months ago and admitted these wastes of Medical supplies haven't done A THING. Some Companies just can't take a hint.
I've gotten used to it. The only time its been a hindrence to me is that I can't run while wearing mask. Especially if I'm running fast. It's just going to leave the mask soaking and its harder to breath. I can lift weights heavy e or use it for 8 hours at work just fine.
I hate that we were told to get the vax and it wouldn't be require but it still is... even though scientists knew not everyone would get vaxed and it would mutat.
So trust the people with scientific degrees to not lie to us... because scientists don't get political... right?
That's my problem with masks. I never want hide my face... I feel pretty secure about my looks.
I don't like wearing them. I don't like not being able to smile and see others smile, but given today's environment I certainly with everyone would. I just don't understand people who feel they should be allowed to walk into stores without one. Nobody is forcing people to wear a mask, you just can't go in the store without one. Use the curbside service.
People in my country aren't wearing masks but the death rates are less than all the west.
That's because of immunity.
Vaccines and natural immunity. Most people got covid cuz they don't wear masks and they now have immunity against it.
I'm not saying this works for everyone but it's an observation that I made.
In most places I wear the typical masks worn by most people. The ones that CDC says are least effective. I was an "essential worker" during the lockdown and survived with those masks.
In constricted places I wear the N95. Like on a commercial airplane.
Before Covid, I occasionally had to wear a mask on the job so a mask is no big deal.
There's not a damn thing I like about them. The only time I wear a mask is if I'm going into a business that absolutely requires it and the first time I see one of their employees with it down around their neck or their nose exposed, I'm taking mine off
I haven't worn a mask once and I won't start. A mask alone, especially the just most are buying do more harm than good because the average person doesn't wash them after each use, they often hang them on their car mirror so they're growing germs where their car's vent is going to blow them in their face. Leave your shoes outside, wash your hands.
I hated wearing them at the gym, It was hard to breathe doing a HIIT workout. I bought those masks with the two valves on them and removed the rubber thing so I could get a better air flow.
I got vaccinated a long time ago and pretty much put the masks away.
Yeah, but I only like it at work because I have a hard time smiling. So people don't give me strange looks for not smiling. I also notice that a lot of people have really beautiful eyes and i didn't really notice it that much. There was this barista that I was talking to at Starbucks and i asked her can she remove her mask because i wanted to see what she look like without the mask. She took it off and i was like "OH MY GOD, yeah, you can put that mask back on.". A lot of people look better with a mask on. But i agree I'm not going to the gym with a mask on. What if I pass out because I can't breath right.
I have always supported mask mandates. Even before the pandemic, I was always frustrated by the fact that sick people in the western world would not wear masks in school settings and on public transportation. Wearing a mask makes sense to me, enforcing vaccine mandates does not.
I think it's kind of just for show at this point we should have been doing masks a month before they started doing The Mask thing and we wouldn't be doing masks right now. But I do think that people should at least consider in the future when they have a cold or something to wear one so they don't be inconsiderate and spread their f****** disease to everybody
It's the most obvious and dramatic example of self censorship. And in case you haven't noticed China has made billions in exporting those cheap ass slices of paper that you think are saving your life. Honestly archeologists are going to look through the garbage from this century and laugh for fucking years about the stupidity of this age. Did you know in the 2020s people wore napkins over there face for 3+ years staight to stop a disease that's less deadly than the common cold?
The masks that people are buying and wearing as at best a psychological crutch as they have no practical use, unless they are NBC/MOPPS rated.
The majority in the UK are not wearing masks even though is has been suggested used on public transport and shops/supermarkets but not in pubs and restaurants for reasons best know to the Government.
I haven’t been hit with the flu or allergies as bad since having to wear them. I’m used to riding them with my bikes for fumes. Half the make-up needed. Waxing your lip is optional (kidding) It’s no big deal to me.
I like that CCTV is meaningless now. I value my privacy but it used to be that if you covered your face then you had something to hide and people were suspicious.
Now I can wear a mask and metaphorically flip the bird at any CCTV cameras.
I don't believe in walking and eating or walking and drinking. That's just grazing like an animal and that's how you get fat bastards.
Go out, walk, have a meal at home with family, exercise, flip off Big Brother and embrace the privacy.
I don't really have any issues with it so it is fine for me to wear with the high incidence rate, and I will probably also keep it for the future when having a little cold and going out in indoor public spaces.
But I really do feel for people who have to wear them at work for +8 hours a day, must be horrible and bad for you after some time.
Maybe the entire corona was created as a gift to a dentist who felt so alone in the world for having only them and doctors wearing masks. Maybe now that dentist can walk in public places knowing they are not that alone in the world.
And for those who may beöieve in this theory, know that a theory that is proven true is no longer a theory, its a fact. Fact of the matter is, I have no idea or evidence of any kind to back up my theory.
I don't like masks. I don't like wearing them and I don't like being unable to see people are people are meant to be seen. Humans focus on each other's faces. Now, most of the face is gone. Eyes are powerful, but they can't compensate for the loss of most of the face.
I'd prefer ski-masks actually, as they fit the face better. So you at least can see the form of the face. With masks, everything is hidden.
i like that they hide my sexy face so i can surprise women with it later. i dislike that they don't have holes in the center of masks for safe and convenient blowjobs from strange women.
i believe masks should be strictly segregated along sex lines. female masks should be pink and contain a blowjob flap
I think they are worthless against Covid and unless I absolutely have to wear one I don't! They are there to make people feel good!
Wearing a mask helps prevents you from spreading it on to others via talking/breathing
I don't like it too much but I put up with it. Sometimes I find it hard to breathe depending on the type of mask I'm wearing. The disposable masks aren't bad. They're the type I prefer to wear and can tolerate.
I do not care for them since many beautiful women's faces are hidden underneath therefore i cannot enjoy the view of their beauty.
I do like them since people's sicknesses viruses such as cold, flu, etc. would have a harder time getting into my body if we do not keep a distance.
I wore masks way before covid due to a low immune system since age 10-11
Besides people in public were always so icky (sneezing and coughing without covering)
So nothing changed for me.
Moved also when I was 12 and homeschooled and had no friends still don't (had one but we don't speak anymore) so staying at home became the norm for ao long that covid only phases the people I love
A spacesuit would be better. Sometimes I don't want women checking me out and a masks doesn't help as much as you'd think it would. Usually i don't care tho.
they give me pimples at the lower part of my face I never had any there. I can't breath easily while wearing them. Sneezing while wearing a mask feels weird and kinda yucky.
They don't bother me honestly. But it is annoying that self entitled pricks are the reason the pandemic is still going on.
I work in a hospital, overall rates of post operative infections in the cardio ward dropped %65 saving lives.
We will probably never drop the mask mandate here.
I like how I never have to brush my teeth anymore and can just go around with stinky breath.
seriously, I don't mind them at all and if it stops people from coughing their germs on me all the better
The same reasons as you.. im just more protected
Honestly, I don't mind them most of the time. On the contrary, as long as the masks are a thing, so is social distance which mean no touchy greetings!
What ticks me off is Government officials, even Biden and Governors, who don't wear them while mandating their employees wear them.
I really don't care either way, i wear it when it needs to be worn, not an issue and no big drama, im a big boy after all 😂
I don't shave my beard because mask as I wear hat because I don't need clean my hair anymore. It is convenient to cover it
I hate wearing them but sadly not much choice (thanks to people refusing to get vaccinated)
The only thing that I don't like about masks is how they fog my glasses, other than that I don't really anything else to say about them.
Good. You should maybe invest in a metal straw. Means you can drink your drink without taking off your mask.
what...
I can go without makeup more often and I can mouth off fuck you without anyone noticing
I have never minded them, It actually helped quite a bit with my allergies.
Tell all your anti vax friends to get the damn vaccine and maybe we can finally end this
@Xtcy2083 no, go get vaxxed or we get to deal with more omicrons. You want more of that?
Tell that to your anti thinker dumb see who watches the fake news! I bet you know health right? You eat live foods only like fruits and vegetables and workout and you must be so fit right? And you only drink clean water. And do water fasting.
Fkin clown! You belong in North Korea!
@MJtheCoach oh im sorry, did i trigger your feelings bro? Awww. Its too bad.
Well like you conservative douches always say: Grow up and deal with it.
You know your decision to not get vaccinated is a threat to everyone else right? No of course you dont cause you bought the right wing narrative yourself. Pretty fucking pathetic. I bet you if you do get covid you’ll regret not taking it like EVERYONE ELSE DID.
The horse shit you just said I saw that on the fake mainstream media two are you going to announce it everything you hear?
Are you gonna at any time come up with you on logical reasoning? Or at any times you’re goanna say something for my own thoughts. Mr. dunning-Kruger.
People don’t pay me $8000 for two hours for my seminars for my stupidity.
@MJtheCoach i could but i have a feeling you aren’t interested in a rational discussion. Nah bro you just wanna “own the libs”
Get the fuck outta here. Cry to others who give a shit
I don't like them and I don't feel any safer wearing them. I've been vaccinated. Masks are only useful if you're robbing someone. Just kidding
I like being anonymous and making it very hard for the government to know who's who and walking around like a bank robber without any weird looks.
Not wearing any throughout all day except when having to go into official agencies. Still not dying of Covid.
They're super annoying, but I haven't worn one in months anyways.
They pinch nerves and irritate muscles near nerves that I need for hearing. And cause breakouts.
