What kind of monster puts fentanyl in a child’s candy? I also don’t like feeling social pressure to purchase candy for someone else’s child. The whole thing seems weird to me

A kid dying from a strangers trick or treat candy has never happened. What actually happens is the trusted adult of the child murders the child and uses the candy as a misdirection.
If this was true ypu would see a least a dozen if not close to 100 deaths in a small area. What actually happens is just one child.
I talked to a very clever grandmother. She takes her grandkids trick or treating and when they get home she gives them $100 each to buy their candy. Then she gives him her own candy cupcakes and ice cream. You would have to be crazy to let your kids eat that crap from strangers.
In Tennessee someone was lacing $1 bills with fentanyl and then throwing them around town. What kid isn't going to pick that up?
It would be nice to have a president that actually cared about the border.
Is the top in your name also known as sanity? Don't lick the money and you'll be fine.
"Medical experts say simply picking up and touching such drugs is not harmful. Rather, it's the ingesting and snorting of them that could do harm. Further, while it's true that authorities in one locale in Tennessee had cautioned about drug-laced dollar bills supposedly being found at a gas station, those reports were based on two isolated incidents and did not demonstrate a widespread problem."
You sound like a freaky groomer.
I'm not from the United States, so I feel that I would offend some users if I said that it should end. I don't want that.
However, if I had a child I would let him or her go tricking or treating. It's way too dangerous!
But I agree with everything you said.
* I wouldn't let him/her
When I was a kid we tried to go to houses where my family knew the people, because even back then there were sickos putting razor blades in apples and other poisons in candy.

it should be evolved. I can't stand buying total poison candy at high prices and handing it out to dunce children who overcome their fears to get it, just to end up having real fears when they go under the dentists drill and the doctors scope to repair the damage. The cost to society for all the illnesses is not worth it unless we can bill it back to the candy companies. Not counting the ones hurt in accidents.. that's secondary.
Just give me an app where I can contribute to their 403b plan by waving a wand dressed up as a warlock, give them some sound life advice and they give me some warm regards for my generosity and offer to help me rake my leaves, and send them on their way.
Good grief... I just can't stand corruption of minors instituted by corporate Americaca...
Scotty... BEAM ME UP SOON>>>>>>
Let kids have some fun. Close the southern border and curtail the smuggling of fentanyl. If we cancel Halloween then the bad guys win.
Nope trick or treating is one of the best part about being a kid
It's been going on in various forms for thousands of years so it'll be a shamed to end it because of a few idiot putting stuff in candy.
Yes. Its nonsense. a marketing ploy to sell over priced candy. Halloween was actually an evil, dark time, and many lives were lost. Its ignorant to celebrate it, and make it "fun". So typical of society today. Anything for a quick buck
I love Halloween and everything about it. I hate to ask to end any part of it.
I love Halloween too. We’re not ending Halloween just trick-or-treating.
Though trick or treating is really nice and a good gesture of generosity but yea i get what u mean. I think we can keep it but in smaller communities or in events
Fetnayl in candy? Lol things are getting to bad then kids should just trick or treat among the common old retired people neighborhoods or something or trusted neighbors.
yes. society is already doing so. do you see as many trick or treaters as you used to years ago? they're like almost extinct.
No if you don’t like it don’t do it but don’t ruin it for everyone else.
It's already largely extinct now.
No, not really
Something like this doesn't have to be officially prohibited, because all the homeowners/tenants have to do is just not answer the door, and that's it. There are fewer and fewer kids doing it every year as it is. People are just too fearful of one another nowadays, and the scamdemic didn't help matters.
Nope..
