No polyamory is wrong for multiple reasons in my opinion.

1. it cheapens marriage.

2. It spreads STDs like wildfire.

3. Studies have shown regardless of sex too many sexual partners have negative long term mental health effects.

4. Liberal sex has heavily increased the number of children in single parent households, orphanages and foster care often times as a result of abuse or neglect.

5. I've seen poly relationships someone almost always eventually gets loved the least and eventually removed or leaves or at best the relationship becomes toxic.

6. It splits attention in the relationship often making it much less fulfilling even when they work.

7. There are tons of reasons all on their own that will cause all manner of legal headaches. Just think of the nightmare you'd get with poly divorces.

8. Some things are cultural norms for a reason because they lead to negative behavior. I'm not saying it should be illegal, but I am saying there is often a stigma for a reason.

This is not something that typically happens. I think what is normal is to not pay attention outliers and give it headline to make it appear like we have this rampant situation happening.

I also think what's normal for you might be different to others and we just need to focus on the things that align with our values. Meaning minding our own business when other folks do things you may or may not approve of.

How would one normalize this kind of behavior besides bringing it to other people's attention like done here? Just curious since this is just not a thing that happens frequently.
