Agreed, Your sex life is not more important than human life. Babies shouldn’t have to die because you can’t stay out of the bedroom. Sex creates babies, if you don’t want one, don’t have sex.

I’d need to know more about how this would be accomplished and enacted, but I wouldn’t disagree with holding deadbeat dads more accountable.
My whole thing on abortion is that sex is for everyone, babies are not, and even if you DO want a baby, that should be your call on WHEN in your life you choose to do so.
I wholeheartedly disagree with any of the “strict father” mentality, this very weird consequence-boner they get when people have to suffer for their actions. Like that’s just so wholly weird I just don’t understand.
I have a saying: “you have to play to the wind, not piss into it.” People are going to have the same amount of sex regardless of what consequences you try to assign to it. Nothing will stop it. We’re wired for this by nature. Nature says we start getting these urges at the beginning of puberty. That used to work when we were still living the type of lifestyles we did (and probably still should), because you weren’t going to high school, then maybe to college, then climbing the career ladder…. honestly, most of us aren’t in a good enough position to be expected to reasonably raise a baby until our 30s, if that.
But nature doesn’t care about or acknowledge any of this, we’re still wired to want to start fucking when we’re like 13. And all the negative consequences in the world will never, ever dissuade that.
So we can opt to “punish” people for not waiting until marriage, in a time when marriage in your 20s is a tough prospect as it is, and then we end up with a bunch of parents who aren’t all-in on being parents, unprepared emotionally and financially, and you can’t just gatekeep sex like that where only successful and affluent people can afford to get laid. Good luck with getting adherence to any of that.
As for the baby…we can always pull the “that baby could’ve grown up to cure cancer!”, but the reality is that baby will likely be just another fat asshole with their ass-crack hanging out in front of you when you’re in the checkout line at Walmart. Most humans are THOROUGHLY unimpressive, there should probably be 6-7 billion fewer of us than there unfortunately currently are, so why we would do anything to increase those numbers is simply baffling to me. I am not a champion of the human species, lmao, we’re an absolute clown show, so forced birth or even encouraged parenthood are big time “NO” for me.
I agree with him in the sense that I believe paternity tests should be mandatory. But I think that would do more to encourage more honesty and responsible among women than among men.
