No but I would agree that many guys struggle in modern society I´d rather say the cause is something different.

I would say the main cause is that modern society meaning gets lost. We lose a sense for what´s meaningful and what isn´t. For guys that´s a problem because guys crave meaning, it´s an orientation marker. Call it goals, call it status or being someone.
Since everythink that gave meaning in the past like having a family, sex and friendships now is devalued and the internet creates new stuff that looks good (like video games, social media, porn...) but is a trap and has no long term meaning. Many guys are lost and lack orientation and so they are trapped by the new stuff while being completely unhappy.

I have been carrying a lot of responsibility for almost 30 years. It has done something to me.

No I don't think that's true or more so their are no responsibilities I feel I can't handle and I don't feel I dont have enough or good rights
