If you want to be better, work on yourself rather than focus on others. If you're already good, then there's a good likelihood there are others like you. I'm not saying you'll mesh with all the people in the world, but how many do you actually need in your life? Look at your pattern of choosing people rather than the people you choose. It's like people who always blame their many ex-partners rather than looking at their role in the dysfunction. Are your behaviors triggering the responses you don't want to see, or are you choosing people for superficial reasons and then expecting them to conform to your ideal? You'll get a lot further in life if you focus on your role in your life, which is the only thing you actually have control of.

That is such a silly question. I would say there are more good then bad in the world. The issue is you never hear about the good because in todays world bad sells and good doesn’t. There are many actual hero’s out there doing things selflessly and they go unrecognized.
I think going through life with rose color glasses is a bad thing but the doom and gloom glasses you wear are worse.
