Would the American people use drugs if they were Muslims?

That's a great question actually , if bought up as genuine , real Muslims ( no drinking etc ) well they wouldn't use drugs , I know some Muslims sell drugs ( which is also against the religion ) but don't know too many who use.

Why would they not? Drugs are extremely rampant all across the middle east (saw it firsthand on a daily/nightly basis in Kuwait, Jordan, and Syria), so there's no correlation whatsoever that Americans in a hypothetical Islamic centric culture would be less prone.
