"Comply then complain" is the slogan I heard on the radio that the police force put out. How do you feel about it?

I have watched many YouTube videos of what I think are grown adults acting like children when confronted by routine stops. This slogan was radio broadcasted to try and stop all violent acts both from police and suspicious behavior persons.

I thought this from the very beginning. We have a nation of very disrespectful people for both authority and others that are plaguing the USA.

The police have a duty not to escalate violence regardless of the provocation. Citizens do not have an obligation to comply with every order of a police officer. In particular they do not have to answer questions about their personal activities --;origin, destination, purpose of trip, etc.

Wrong, it's closer to 10 citizens killed by police for every officer killed in the line of duty.

79 officers killed 2022 by gunfire 61, vehicle pursuit 4, struck by vehicle 14 which could be accidentally or on purpose.
Every time a civilian is killed by officers it's huge broadcasted news. I can say I definitely didn't hear of even 61 in any year.

Youtube videos recorded show many cases where during a routine traffic stop in which most people just say yes or no and follow basic instructions from authority are rebelling trying to assault or trying to steal tazers or weapons out of holsters.

I think you should watch live footage of police cameras instead of half a segment off of a phone.
Capitol hill was completely taken over. How can you say there is no crime. People were murdered on site of the area.
I live in Spanaway and lived in Washington about 37 years. I remember when Seattle was an amazing place. It is not now. In fact there are numerous documentaries detailing the massive fall of Seattle. It's a disgusting drug ridden trashy place now. I would not go anywhere near there anymore.

Capitol Hill is known for something that probably made it an extremely easy target. You are old enough to have seen Capitol Hill during its greatest days. Were you there in the late 80s to early 90s? It was so much fun! You could just walk all around anywhere and sleep on the grass in any park or at the university. You could just walk around at night and get invited to house parties. The music scene was incredible and Bumbershoot was packed for 4 days. It used to be Friday to Labor Day. 5 a day or 15 for 4 days.

No i was there from 2015. We used to walk at over central Seattle any time day or night. CHOP was a minor inconvenience. The growth I'm the mentally ill unsheltered homeless population since the pandemic, and the policies of Sawant etc. al on the Council is the problem.

You don't have to be completely compliant, as in you don't have to answer all of their questions. It's always best to say as little as possible until you've been advised by a lawyer.

Fighting with them and trying to resist will get you into trouble even if they're arresting you unlawfully, better to let them cuff you, take you to the station, and then sue them.

Crime is way up here in Wa state as a result of the Capitol hill park takeover from the George Floyd riots that resulted in defunding our police.

"Way up" ? It's up because of a large population of unsheltered people with mental health problems. Seattle is still far safer than most US cities.
