If Israel is hell-bent on a genocide, what's taking so long?

Israel owns the sky, and yet they're fighting a ground war. Why? Why not just take out all of Hamas in two days, and then go do the Tango with Hezbollah?

The enemy that claims they are fighting for innocent civilians, well that enemy dresses like those innocent civilians, he hides among them, uses them has human shields and will not allow them to escape to safety. Their deaths are used to further their cause. Hamas truly does not care who lives or dies.


Because of that, you see their logic for doing so. As Israel hunts to destroy Hamas, innocent Palestinians are unfortunately killed in the process. Thereby inflaming the rest of the world and forcing those innocent Palestinians to hate the Israeli's. During times of peace, those same innocent Palestinians couldn’t care less about Israel.


When those innocent Palestinians find themselves morning the loss of their children, we will see what happens, they will join the ranks of Hamas, thereby perpetuating the hatred and future terrorist acts against Israel.


Now we come to the point of War Crimes. Well, to be honest, war is a War Crime. That’s right.


During WWII, in an effort to stop Germany and Japan, it was necessary to bomb German and Japanese cities. The allies did all we could to avoid civilian casualties, but that is just the unfortunate nature of war. Innocent civilians will die.


Had the Cold War led to WWIII, major metropolitan areas would have been targeted, on both sides, by multi megaton warheads in an effort to destroy civilian infrastructure that could be used for military purposes.


Many innocent civilians would have been vaporized. Those living in the boonies, would eventually die, as well, from nuclear fallout. Even countries not involved would have eventually lost innocent civilians.


The goal of Israel is to destroy the current Hamas leadership and deter anyone from reconstituting this group of terrorist. At the same time, forcing the innocent Palestinians to prevent any future terrorist group from taking control of Gaza.


Hopefully, but unfortunately, those innocent dead will not have died without purpose.

Today I learned that dropping 18,000 tones of bombs on civilians is definitely not using the skies and it totally isn't a genocide. I suppose it's totally fine when 'our greatest ally' is shelling hospitals and schools that are ran by the UN, totally not a genocide nor a war crime.

What people don't realize is Gaza is less than half area of NYC. Gaza could have been been nuked in minutes if the intent was to kill everyone. Even if they carpet bombed Gaza, it would only take a couple hours.

Hamas has a network of tunnels and most are close to hospitals and other populated areas so they use palestinians as human shields. The Israelis have to go neighborhood by neighborhood and that is very difficult and time consuming.

Yeah well most protestors are nitwits. I think most protestors don't take into account that Israel is surrounded and outnumbered. Israel actually shows great restraint. Most other countries would have turned Gaza into a parking lot by now. Israel knows they can't. They're only going to have world support for so long. a lot would say they've lost it already. Because they're keeping score with death tolls. Most other countries would move to iradicate the problem. Israel is forced to live with it. All Israel is trying to do is to degrade Hamas's ability to do this effectively again for a very long time. Because it WILL happen again to Israel. And that's the point. No other country would stand for this. Is rael by nature of geography is forced to.
