The people that are allowing this to happen. Never had to sleep in a damp fox hole with bullets flying overhead and bombs landing next to them. Earning next to nothing in pay.
I never have either. But I would surely try to take care of the people who did!

Not just America but any country that is either unable or unwilling to provide adequate shelter, food and healthcare to it's veterans has no business accepting "refugees" from anywhere.

When that country claims to be the moral compass for the planet yet criminalises helping the homeless the people need to wake up and put their government to the fire.

You cannot have national morality without from religious principles. I believe George Washington said that in his Farewell address.

Pity Washington DC doesn't follow it's namesake's teaching.

If you look at it from the perspective of Democrats, the illegal aliens are their hired mercenary force to conduct a violent communist revolution against a constitutional federal republic. In contrast US veterans have already taken an oath to defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Thus, it is in their interest to keep their army well fed and healthy, while depriving the enemy force of resources and comfort.

The real question is whether this question should even have to be asked in the first place. I mean... I get that it's kind of normalized (not normal, not by a long shot) to be cruel of those who are of no use to the society anymore, but disregarding military veterans is straight up appalling. I mean, not going for euthanasing all these soldiers is kind of... hope-inspiring at this point, and that itself is terrifying. But with the current trends catching more wind, this kind of final... I mean, "proper" solution might be just around the corner. I think some of the most evil monsters in human history would be laughing maniacally if they saw what the world turned out to be like.

Ok so I used to think the same but here’s a little insight. I am a vet myself, I work at the VA. A lot of them are homeless by choice. A lot of vets get a disability rating. A number of them are rated the same as me or at higher ratings all the way up to 100%. Which is a little under 3800 a month w no kids, not married. Many of them, not all, but many of them are given places to live, but they don’t want to abide by those rules whether it’s no drinking, no drugs, etc. so they leave. One vet got a deposit of almost $6000, I know because he had me call his bank for him. Yes there are some vets who are probably down on their luck, but there’s also a lot of them who don’t want to spend the money they get from the federal gov’t, even if they’re given a place to live requiring them to pay part of the rent. Some get kicked out of the homes they go to because they’re verbally abusive, punched staff or even other residents. As for illegals, no we shouldn’t be footing that bill.
