Earlier today a man with a knife started stabbing kids near a school in Dublin. He was stopped and detained by the public and is being treated for injuries.
However the far right have leapt on speculation that he was a foreigner and a huge riot is now in progress.
Not like Irish people to do this. In any country it makes people angry if immigrants are violent and criminal with authorities not dealing with it. If it has got to this than the Irish gov't can only look to itself.
Substantial immigration causes stress on the population. It is close to immediate with housing for obvious reasons and on inflation more generally.
Here in Australia there is adverse reaction to immigrant murderers and sex offenders being released into the community. Also adverse reactions to gangs. A left wing government has substantially increased immigration to be doubled.
Sweden is rejecting immigrants now when it was positive in 2015.
The left wing tends to treat their country as a social experiment and a lot are finding the people are not happy with it when there are negative consequences to immigration.
So my thought on the Dublin riot is the Irish gov't should stop making mistakes it has been making and it has made mistakes with this riot occurring..
A point I saw made is Ireland fought for a considerable time to be an ethnic state i. e. Celtic and the gov't is wanting to make more ethnically diverse and there is heavy hate speech recently. Possibly not the place to force neo pronouns.
The riot was just an excuse for inner city scum to loot and trash the place, the same inner City scum who have been randomly attacking tourists and locals around O' Connell street in recent times.
While there may have been far right people online stirring the pot after the horrendous stabbing in incident yesterday afternoon, last night's rioting was primarily scum with no political motive looking to loot shops before Christmas.

I get their anger but rioting and burning things is them hurting innocent people and their businesses in the process who had nothing to do with what happened.
He was a foreigner but living here for 20 years so pretty much Irish. I understand why people are angry kids got hurt but to riot hit cops steal and burn stuff has nothing got to do with protesting. And it's no help to kids or there families in this hard time. Fuck joke they should be ashamed of themselves
The European people were not asked to accept mass immigration, it was forced on them. For example, the UK voted in Conservative governments and passed Brexit to reduce immigration, but the Conservative governments they actually got massively increased immigration. Eventually the increased costs, social destabilization, and wage suppression that results is bound to spur a reaction.
There is a increasing resentment towards Islam all over Europe. The crime, rape and terrorism it brings combined with a non-significant number of its adherents living on welfare relying on a society they wish to destroy increases resentment.
Combine this with the recent Hamas attacks letting europeans get a glimpse of their own future.
That said if a fox kills the chicken in a chicken coop then is the fox responsible or the person who left the door open?
Pointless. The guy was "detained" by the public. I like that description. If you're going to go around stabbing children then expect to be seriously "detained"...
It is weird how rich people realized if they just spend a trifiling amoint on keeping the right mad, they'll never have to worry about the left coming after the rich because the left will be too busy babysitting the right.
No, they don't, because knives actually serve useful purposes (ex. in the kitchen). The same cannot be said about guns, especially those heavy machine-gun assault rifles that the extreme, ultra-fascist right love to tote.

Your point is made I have been saying that here for years and all you hear is crickets. Most crimes committed with a gun and it turns out that the weapon was bought on the black market not at gun shows or shops private seller. Protestants and Roman Catholics always have issues but the IRA and the real IRA have gotten quiet over recent years. Some people don't like northern Ireland is part of England where as southern Ireland is independent. Then there is the whole issue with Brexit creating a hard boarder.
