As you all know, running a sanctuary city is very expensive. So in order to feed and house the growing illegal alien population in NYC, Eric is going to slash school funding, library funding, and reduce the police force by 3,000 cops.

Now that's true leadership! The police and teachers unions are royally pissed off, but we all have to pitch in and do our part in order to make this sanctuary work.

I think Trump's wait in Mexico policy was stupid. Wouldn't it be better to wait in the Big Apple?

I think there should be an absolute hardline two term limit in any office AND a two office term, period. If you’re a mayor for two terms then you can only hold one other office for two terms. No more career politicians who spend their entire lives never having an actual job and yet making decisions that impact the rest of us normal working class folks.

The number of illegals NYC has received is a paltry sum compared to what tiny border towns have been forced into dealing with for years.

I have zero sympathy for so-called sanctuary cities falling apart over a dumb (and illegal) policy coming back to bite themselves in the ass, but it's darkly comical that cutting the most basic functions of city government in order to accommodate them is something they'd rather do than lock down the border and deport people. This is even while state level officials are switching parties on account of the border security issue. The writing is on the walls, and the Democrats are in complete and total denial to the death on this for some reason.
