So just out of curiosity

If you have say goat's and chickens 2 dogs and 2 cats

Do they make a program for people in abusive situations for their animals and then to escape im assuming not and if you wanted to keep them you would have to escape on your own

I worked with DV victims, and here where I lived in NY there was a program specifically designated for pets of DV victims who wanted to escape. I don’t know if other locations offered the same services, but in some places they do assist. But chickens… maybe not.

Yes you’d have to find the will to break away on your own. But there are supportive networks that help people in need.

Abusive spouses tend to control money, cars, etc, so you literally have nothing when you “escape” so to speak. But I’ve seen it.

Once they are out. Poof. It’s like a lightbulb flicking on. They’re back. And then lawyers can get you some solid takeaways.

If your personal physical safety is in danger, fuck the animals. You can take the dogs and cats with you. Call animal control about the others and let them know you think the others are in danger.
