Anyone calling for a genocide or enabling or letting it happen, is in violation of human rights.

If you're conflating the issues surrounding Palestine now, an intifada is just resistance, in this case, it's Palestinian resistance against a settler colony which has stolen their land and homes for over 70 years.

But, as someone who's anti-zionist, I'm not endorsing any genocide against anyone, especially Jewish people in this case. Sadly, some antizionists have been using the same hate rhetoric and action that zionists are using against Palestinians.

This doesn't take away from the fact that genocide is currently happening in Palestine and people on both sides are using the same kind of rhetoric and justifications as the Nazis did in the 20s-40s

In the same way that calling for the genocide of Jewish people should be a violation of university rules, so should calling for genocide against Palestinians and any other social/religious/ethnic group. However, things like will only be used by the wrong people to suppress the voices of those they want powerless.

If it is legal for people to be stupid, why is it illegal for them to do some stupid things and not others? If people are allowed to mangle language and hinder communication through wanton idiocy, what difference does it make if they pointlessly call for a genocide that they have no means of enacting?
Simply calling for genocide shouldn't be banned anywhere because it isn't like any of them could actually do it anyway. People have always hated each other. People WILL always hate each other. Trying to hide it away and pretend it doesn't exist is just going to make people frustrated and more likely to act on their impulses.
In case you don't get what I'm saying, if people can't openly declare their hatred for each other, they're much more likely to start actually trying to kill each other instead as they have no way of venting.
