Police Arrest Students for Protests against Israel's Genocide

Acting on orders from the White House, immigration agents have arrested a Columbia University graduate for deportation due to his leadership of campus protests against Israel’s genocidal atrocities in Gaza last year.

Mahmoud Khalil had permanent residency in the US, but his green card has been revoked by the State Department. The Trump administration announces that funding will be killed for any schools which allow “protests” in support of Palestinians on their campuses.

He is, as a legal US citizen married to a legal US citizen, logically and rightfully criticizing a foreign entity for the crimes they have committed against civilians which is undoubtedly considered a war crime by international law. What Trump is doing is violation of the First Amendment right and the right to freedom of speech, a betrayal of the US constitution for the sake of a foreign entity's interests.

However, this is no surprise. With all the Jewish influence on the American politics and media, and with the American presidential campaigns funded and financed by Jewish financiers, it's no surprise that the American president goes on to push for the Zionist interests in violation of the US constitution. You have all sorts of Zionist lobby in the US politics, AIPAC and ADL are some examples. Trump's presidential campaign was funded by a radical Zionist, Miriam Adelson, Sheldon Adelson's wife and everyone knows about their Pro-Zionism sentiments and tendencies. Trump is the bitch of the Zionists, just as Biden and other US presidents were.

But they can't silence people's voice. According to a poll carried out by Gallup, today, only less than half of American people support Israel.

I STRONGLY disagree! There is no other country on Earth that we are not allowed to criticize, including our own. But somehow it is "antisemitic" to criticize Israel even though many of the protesters are Jewish.

Mahmoud Khalil's words and deeds may have violated this statute. I am not informed enough to make a judgment as to that. However, he needs due process to be convicted of this and then, upon conviction, he should lose his permanent residency.

So, as shown in this statute, the "freedom of speech" only goes so far.

If Mahmoud Khalil vocally supports HAMAS, a Federally identified terrorist organization, then he's violated this statute. For example, here is the State Department's list which includes HAMAS since October 1997.

So, as I wrote earlier, he needs due process to have his permanent residency revoked but, if he is guilty of what he is accused of - advocating for HAMAS - then, yes, it's appropriate. Supporting terrorist organizations or enemies is unacceptable in our society.

For Khalil's case, criticizing Israel is not the issue; it's any advocacy of his in support of HAMAS and/or other terrorist organizations.

Get that straight.

But, I again repeat, I don't know enough either way about what he is alleged to have done. If he were charged with violating 8 U. S. Code § 1182(a)(3)(B)(i)(VII) and I was on the jury for his trial, I won't vote to convict at this point in time. The Administration says he passed out information pamphlets supporting HAMAS. I'd need testimony of evidence of that to convict.

In this case however the first amendment should have perfectly protected his rights to speak freely and the actions taken by the government against him is explicitly illegal.
