Because, as you've probably deduced, the complaints being made aren't about them; they're about women in general, and the treatment they're given in society.

The world- the modern western world, at least- likes to pretend that men and women are treated equally, but beyond a pretty shallow level, we're not. The dichotomy can be summed up in six words: men get respect, women get empathy. This is why women, possessed of entire categories of rights that men lack, are still seen as oppressed victims. It's why girls are taught, and women are constantly told, that they have no power to meaningfully affect the world, or even their own lives. It's why coverage of a disaster refers to (adult) male victims as "miners" or "sailors" or whatever they happen to do (rather than be), while women and children are "women and children". It's why mutilating our genitals in infancy is considered routine, but to do so to yours is an unthinkable crime. Why when one of you is caught raping a student of theirs, it's seen as almost cute, while one of us who does is lucky if he lives long enough to see trial.

Women aren't taken seriously even as sex offenders, and if that doesn't show a disparity in social treatment, nothing will. Please note that I'm not saying this to complain about women "having it better"; just pointing out that things are very unequal, and not just (not primarily, even) because of some vague force called "misogyny". Transsexual people bring to light a very real disparity that the west conspicuously ignores, and no one likes having their cognitive dissonance brought to public attention.

Consider sports. Now, one of the issues centered around these people is the presence of MtF trans folks in women's sports, and it's logical to question that- even if you set limits on testosterone levels, you're still going to have differences in heart and lung size and efficiency that're going to make a level playing field pretty much impossible. What's the solution? I don't know. But there is also a disparity in chess. CHESS. FIDE, the international chess organization, has three ranks exclusive to women, alternative versions of master, grandmaster, and international master, each of which is hundreds of ELO points below its male counterpart. Why? You don't need great strength or endurance to play chess; the pieces weigh maybe half an ounce, and chess clocks give you plenty of time to decide on moves.

The answer is that society doesn't challenge women the way it challenges men, and so it assumes that women won't play chess if they have to get good at it before doing so on a competitive level; that lacking a Y chromosome means your ego is so fragile that failure of any kind will irrevocably stop you from trying something. For some women, that's true, and for many women, the social backlash given for bucking trends will stop them- it doesn't have to, but it WILL.

In general men don't get that much attention. So trans men get the full male experience with lower effort.

Trans men tend to just blend in and live their lives. Trans women have recently taken more militant stances in trying to override women’s sports and jobs and products to suit their wants.


For example, trans women in women’s sports team; trans women pretending to have periods and being placed on period ads, or being nominated for most beautiful “woman” of the year.


Trans woman carry over the misogynistic views they had as men, and still attempt to control and dominate women.

Didn't they more rare? also many women are bi so they more likely to accept them.
