Ack! you know the drill. Women can walk together holding hands and not be lesbians. Hug and kiss each other (not on the mouth). Have pillow fights and not be gay. Slumber parties.

Wear skirts and dresses and shorts, then men-styled slacks and suits and not be called Drag Kings.

Men are still hard-pressed to wear dresses, skirts and makeup without being looked askance at. They aren't "for work" allowances as they should be. Men should have to freedom to dress up their faces' strong points. It's true, men's makeup exists, but I can barely think of an instance I've seen a man wearing subtle blush or lipstick or eyeshadow.

Women can wear Doc Martens, the butchest boots ever, but men can't wear pumps.

Definitely a lot of sexism in how men can act among themselves and how they can dress. Is it patriarchy, anti-gay sentiment? Probably both. Just as men aren't supposed to cry, flexibility in other areas is almost nonexistent.
