I love the work I do regardless of the money. But most men don’t earn the income I want. I wouldn’t want to have to ask someone for permission to make a purchase.

I'd hate that. I don't want any man or woman to completely control my life. That sounds like a prison not a relationship. I need to be able to run my own life. I can put my own money together with a significant other but there's no way I'm just having Someone else act like my momma or daddy. I'm a grown woman with my own money. I'm not gonna stand with someone else until I can stand on my own.

Culture has taken away their traditional utility. Having nothing useful (in my view) to do makes them seek work and a career. My mother was a professional homemaker (trad- wife) and was the most content woman (along with similar friends) I have ever seen. She ran the household.
