Ya know, those who chant "we are comming for your children" can we expect the leftist defenders of equality who make "priests are pedos" jokes to make the same type of jokes about them or is their support of equality based on a false premise?

The reason that priests are pedo jokes are funny is because it is social commentary. In other words, its only funny because priests are committing pedophilia but escaping criminal prosecution because they are being protected by the institution of the church. There is no such thing for trans people. They are tried in court like any others which makes such a joke not particularly funny.

This is why conservative comedians are not particularly funny or popular in the industry. They usually target people or groups that lack power in society rather than those who are powerful.

The left is 100% in favor of prison time for anyone who rapes children, be they priest, Trans person, or former president. Sadly, the right can't say the same.
