Some people also use the word somewhat as a slur. You do know there are things that have non-slur meanings that also are used as slurs, right? Female dog in heat (bitch) or British slang for cigarette stumps (not writing this one and risking having my answer deleted for being offensive) for example.

Mental retardation. That's what it was called back in my day. Now for some reason everyone is called autistic instead. And I mean like everyone! I don't want to study because I'm autistic. I don't want to follow rules because I'm autistic.
