Conservatives, Why do conservatives credit lunatic left ideas with people on the autism spectrum?

I'm seeing a lot of conservative speakers are doing this lately even though high functioning autistics are less likely to adopt ideas in opposition to the facts and are also less likely to have a politically correct filter.

I can understand what you’re saying. I’m a high-functioning autist. I think almost robotically about a lot of things, with complete detachment from emotion. The lack of a filter is actually caused by a lack of empathy. I only care about what I believe to be the truth, regardless of what I or anybody else feels about it. I can’t stand political correctness or virtue signalling.

At the same time, there are studies which show for example that a large percentage of people who identify as trans are autistic also. For some people autism also causes identity issues. These people often have a weak sense of self, as in they struggle to understand or define who and what they are. Much of the transgender craziness does come from these people.

You still have affective empathy unless you are also a sociopath.

There is still some empathy, but less than the average person. I think it also relates to the feeling of anger toward people who lie, that seems to be another autistic trait. I hate liars, therefore I find it very hard to be full of shit myself.

I am autistic myself and I find liars to be some of the most tiresome people around. I would rather deal with someone who is malicious but honest rather than someone who is benevolent but dishonest.

I think we get mad at liars because we simply can't communicate indirectly without a huge amount of effort and it just seems like a waste of time to dance around the truth to us.

I think mature, direct communication is demonstrably superior and leads to a lot less confusion.

I can totally understand the value of double speaking and whatnot if you're a politician or otherwise have to manipulate people for a living though 🤷‍♂️
