I would trust the science more than an emotive headline like in the picture. It's that type of languages which convinces me science is right.

But remember there's other factors at work that'll determine flooding. Land always rises and falls, Scotland is rising while England is sinking. Then there's coastal erosion and depositing. As for buying property there's a village here (Fairbourne) that's soon destined to fall to the sea but people still pay high prices in the knowledge they'll be dead by then

Of course the sea level is rising people really are stupid. The ocean isn't rising at feet per year it is rising a centimeter or 2 per year. In 50 or 60 years that house might have water issues until then it is beachfront property. We know the oceans are rising. How? Because we know the ice caps are melting. Have I seen it? Yes. Why? Because below all that ice lies dormant viruses and bacteria that haven't been seen since before humanity as a result samples of this stuff are being shipped to labs around the world now in the hopes it can be identified and a treatment, cure, vaccine made before it enters the public. I own one of the labs that is currently studying these viruses and bacteria

Some places get thicker sure that is to be expected. The reality is the polar ice caps are smaller now than they were 20 years ago. Or 50 years ago. The sea level is also higher than it was 20 years or 50 years ago. These are traceable data points that are studied year round by people.

A bit at least. Slowly. The North pole is melting. Thats how polar bears ends up in Svalbard. The water from the melted ice turns to water. Its unlikely to be a big problem for most people in our lifetime, its not as big a deal as some make it out to be but that does not mean it does not happen.

oops you need to choose Antarctica for your claim, because the arctic ice FLOATS like ice in a cup already displaced. and without the air and the ice expansion that caused floating, must be less volume when it melts.

Coastal erosion for the UK is more a risk than rising sea levels, however if you buy inland you open yourself up to the increased risk of flooding. It is not an agenda of lies though. Putting global warming aside, the other major issue is man made materials such as plastics in the food chain, that needs resolved quicker than anything else.
