one of the things about voting is that you do not have to disclose who you voted for. Having a receipt with who you voted for would defeat the purpose.
Maybe just give people a receipt that indicates that you voted so you cannot vote more than once.
Supposed to be anonymous. Most people aren't registered dems or Republicans. If they could track who votes for who them who's to say that you may be held accountable after the elections
Because who you vote for is between your conscious and the ballot box. I'm sure people like you would love to go banging on doors demanding to see receipts so you can intimate people, or more likely round them up for execution.

Two words Voter ID. That would fix a lot of the problem
Forget it. Democrats kill every attempt Republicans have made to require voter ID.
You can't drive a car without it, enter a government building without it, open a bank account without it or buy alcohol without it. But for the most important right American citizens have, the right to vote? Nope, according to the Democrats it's too much to ask.

Because its meant to be a secret ballot. You can't get a receipt from ticking a box in a slip of paper and putting it in a plastic container box.

You would vote by machine and the computer generates the receipt.
It sounds like she’s accused bringing absentee ballots for too many people. The state launched an investigation, the allegations have yet to be proven. Connecticut law requires ballots to be dropped off in person or by a designated family member only. Let’s keep in mind each state has different laws regarding mail in and absentee voting and ballots. I would agree in general if fraud has been proven the state needs move forward with criminal charges.
