Yes, since I have been a cashier before at a Starbucks and worked alongside a girl who would ask customers if they wanted a receipt prior to putting in their order. Why? you ask. Well, those who said no were the ones that she would be stealing money from.
Another reason is that I have caught cashiers double charging me for items they had no business doing. As well as sale prices not being correctly allocated to my items. And in these times... ESPECIALLY THESE TIMES every cent that can be knocked off better be accounted for. They hate me at Walgreens because I stay letting them know that the sale price was not tacked on. 😂

It depends on what it is. If it's groceries or food? No.
But if it's a major purchase- like a few weekends ago, I bought a new window ac unit? Absolutely! I keep them for at least a year or longer in case something goes wrong with it.
Clothes and shoes, I usually keep the receipts for a few months, or until after I've worn it, then I toss them.
For awhile... Yes, I keep the receipt. After I'm satisfied the product I bought is working okay, and that any charge to my credit card was made correctly, I shred the receipts and throw them out. Abut every 2 months I go through my receipts and get rid of the ones I no longer need.
It depends on what the receipt is for. Stuff like food or beverages no I don't save them. Receipts for gas, office supplies, vehicle repairs, business outings, and appliances all get saved for tax purposes

Yes because I have been accused of stealing and driving off without paying for gas. It was the man right in front of me. Receipt bam I am free.
Also recalls on products.Mail receipt and i save all of them for the home insurance just in case or of i need/want to buy the same thing and compare prices.
Yes.
Whether I keep it somewhere where I can easily find it if I need to is a different matter altogether.I do, especially if what I just bought is expensive. Generally I will keep the receipts for up to a month.
I used to as I saw my mom do it but then I ended up with a whole file full of them… don’t do that anymore though
I don't know. I am kind of a hoarder and very OCD. I don't like throwing stuff like that away. But... Many times it gets too much.
Only if I purchased it using a credit or debit card, or if it's something I can write off on my taxes.
Oh heck naw. No receipt always, unless there's a 'title' or large asset involved.
Otherwise, I'll see it in my credit card bill later.Only with things that can be returned/exchanged if need be.
Only for big ticket items I'm not about their quality and durability.
For most things, which are expensive and/or may break within the first two years.
I only keep it if it's something that I can switch or return. Otherwise I throw it away.
Yes I do. Just in case I need to return something or just to look back on.
as long as i have it electronically i don't take a paper receipt
Nope. I usually through them away when I get home. I don't see the point of keeping them around.
I keep it for a while if it is a small purchase. If it is a major buy I staple it to the documentation.
Only if it was an item that I think might be returned.
It depends on what it is. If it is something electronic or mechanical I do.
Only if I could require a refund or it's a warranty
Well that depends if it's something that I feel like is fragile that can break or if I get some kind of warranty or insurance on it I'll keep the receipt but most times I just throw them out
