That is if you're using cash. I personally don't, even though I probably should. I don't want to go through the trouble of finding change and it takes a while to find it.

I always reach for the change if I have it.
And then there is the thing where, let's say what you are buying is $12.20. And you give the cashier $20.20. There are cashiers who don't know why you are doing that and try to give you back the 20 cents, or they have no idea what to do. It's like come on, it isn't rocket surgery! LOL... Just give me my $8...
I do buy few stuff here and there every single day and with cash, so no... I don't bother with exact change, I would pay the 2.50 and tell them to keep the change or donate it to something... lmao, whether is the Red Cross, or their boss' new boat
dealing with change can give me OCD nightmares, so I rather not have cents and dimes around, lol
I do often because the kids and adults running the register now a days have no idea how to give change.
Around here paying cash slows the line and pisses easily triggered people off. People rarely do it.
Oh, I do shake loose change to buy lottery tickets. The liquor store likes the change.

Never, I hate people who dig for change to give exact change. I save my change. Use it for something special later after collecting it for a long time
If I have the correct change and the line isn’t too busy. I will use correct change.
I do have a habit of controlling the change that I get back!
My bigger beef is the A holes that go through the line with a cell phone stuck in their ear. Or the important ones that need to answer calls in line!
Every time I go shopping I use my Bank/Debit card. It's no good to keep a large amount of cash on you while in person, now small amounts are fine. But not being judgmental or being offensive to people who prefer cash over Bank / Debit cards?
I give exact change and sometimes so count the money ahead of time
I only give exact change if it's in my wallet. Most times I just break a bill unless if they say they don't have enough in their register to give me back my change.
Usually but only because most transactions are digital. I rarely pay exact change when using cash. I’m old skool enough that i appreciate a full piggy bank every blue moon or two!
No i give a bill and tell them keep a change. I dont wanna touch the money everyone else just gave to them. people dont be using germex
I do if I have it. Like @goodguybreakingbadsaid I mostly use my debit card too !
That’s very kind
I don't understand exactly what you're talking about. I mostly use cash for my shopping and also use coins when necessary.
I usually dont if i pay cash. Im just too lazy to count out exact change lol
Rare, because I collect change and sort though it, I search for rare coins
I save up a few large coffee cans full of change
I am AR in that department. If I know I am buying with cash I take a pocketful of various coins exactly so I can give exact change, or at least make it so my change back is all in bills.
Nope but if I have change to cover it I give the smout needed
I have a big jar full of change and when I go out I grab a handfull and try to give exact change.
No, I like to save a bit up and change is a great medium to do that
If I have change on me, I'll do that whenever possible.
Nope, I have a gallon water jug that is my change jar and is almost full... When it fills I will start another one...
I tried to I can’t stand getting lose lchange and it falls out of my pocket every time
When paying in cash - if i have it, then yes.
Most time pay with debit card.
No I always use my card, But my Mum does nearly all the time.
I do not give in that change nope, since I might end up needing it.
I rarely pay in cash and even more rarely have change on me
Not really I mostly used my card.
