Is it Gay if a friend of the same sex as you , is constantly buying you expensive gifts?

They buy you expensive things when you tell them not to , but they keep insisting and still buying you expensive things anyway. Other friends find it weird as well and think maybe they are Gay for you? What do you think?

Yea I knew a girl that had a girl friend that was buying her expensive gifts when she told her not to , to find out she was Gay for her , so the Gay thing has been a question mark over my head , even though I don’t think he is gay , but who knows these days

He is a friend of mine that I use to work with , at first I just thought he was being friendly but it started to become a consistent thing , I told him he doesn’t need to do this and that I no longer want expensive gifts from him anymore and told him to stop , but he keeps insisting that I take it , I’m like Dude I can’t return the favor , i feel bad , I don’t have this kind of money to buy expensive gifts in return maybe one day but not now but thanks for being generous , but this is way too much you don’t have to do this. My other friends thinks it’s odd as well and been making jokes that he might be Gay for me. I just say Fuck That , he can try all he wants I am not going down that road what so ever. I don’t see any signs that he is gay what so ever , so I don’t think he is gay but who knows these days

He buys me real expensive concert tickets and expensive instruments and tools , he also asked me to go away with him to some all inclusive resort that he will pay for this summer , He knows I am without a job right now because I got laid off , I told him No don’t you dare spend that much money on me but he keeps insisting. Very well could be. I'm wondering how long you have known him still, I have a cousin that I'd heard wonderments, maybe, maybe not, I saw him flirt with girls and all. Real good-looking, long hair like a rock star, this was in 92. One night, he was telling me about some friends who had taken him to gay bars in Dallas. Years later, his oldest brother saw an add-in something, maybe facebook, his add was looking for a man, so I guess he is. Heh, 30 years, both of our parents gone and still never spoke to me again.

We all assumed something was off with her friendship with this girl but she didn’t want to listen to any of us , she just said you guys’ are just jealous that she is buying me all these things, She was so blind to it until the girl actually tried making a move on her , So of course my friends’ are trying to say the same thing about my friend. My friend has never made any sexual passes at me or even mentioned anything sexual to me , he just likes to be generous is my guess
