I don't believe so. There's so much news media now and disasters happening everywhere that we've become numb so nobody cares until it happens to them.

Just remember the government isn't coming to save you if a major disaster strikes so prep.

I don't think so. People who have never experienced a disastrous event, like war, will think they have a better chance of survival than they actually do.

I believe there was a study about this done in Britain during WWII where people from different distances from London were asked about how they think they'd fare during an air raid and the further from London you got, the more likely you will get people who will think they will be fine.

scary enough, movies are done with a lot of research. sure there's fiction involved, but it's based on truth and possibility. i can only speak for myself, but i do believe we'll have a nuclear war. i'm far away from the zones that would be hit, but i'm not numb. how could i be numb to realities?

i do think a lot of people aren't numb but oblivious to what is going on. what's sad is half watch the news and half don't. and that 100% is still feeling safe.
