What do you think of Notre Dame de Paris?

I visited the old Notre Dame. it is an impressive structure. It was a brilliant decision to not allow any tall buildings in the vicinity of the Notre Dame (unlike St Pauls in London which is crowded out by sky scrapers). Whilst I am not religious at all, I do come from an unadorned cross background and I always have a shock reaction inside a Roman Catholic church. After that subsided, I felt secular awe at it.
Like the pyramids you have to wonder at the construction of it back in the 1100's and 1200's with the technology available. And the will to do so. I would like to know what the first build cost in today's dollars.
I am very glad that wokery failed to stop the restoration after the fire in favor of humanitarian projects. Notre Dame is a monument to the human spirit.
The only photograph I have of myself is of climbing the stairs to the roof.
It’s cool. I (my mom😂) built and painted a replica of it for a project for my 8th grade French class👍
Isn't it due to reopen this year?
I'm not religious but I appreciate the architecture.
Beautiful. I am glad the rebuild is happening after the fire.

I have been inside Notre Dame, before the tragic fire. It's a magnificent beautiful structure. France, with help from the world, is rebuilding it following that sad fire in 2019. I hope to get the chance to see it again, after it reopens in 2024 or 2025.
Its amazing. When most of the world was living in mud huts in the 1100s, Notre Dame was being built. The fire was a horrible disaster but at least the Rose Window survived.
I have never been there but I have heard of the hunchback guy that lives there.
It really showed the highest peak of humanity ingenuity and creativity..
Human**..
Nice church but once you see churches in Italy it's not as impressive on the interior.
Beautiful architecture that unfortunately was destroyed
Incredible building, the first wa sa blessing in disguise in a way inviitng stone masons and apprentices to recreate what as once there which takes an insane amount of skill
I think nothing, until it's fully repaired :)
I haven't seen it yet, but France is kind of on the list.
We would like to go to Japan first.
The building? Look forward to visiting again once the fire renos are done.
Nice building. Looks neat. No strong opinions beyond that.
Is that current? How was the rebuild? I heard the damage wasn’t partially bad to the historical areas…
I wish I would have seen the inside before it burnt down
It's better than Notre Dame de South Bend.
Doesn't the Hunchback live there?
Never been there but it seems pretty
It’s Awesome
my sister is in love with your father
