Just to give you quick info. on Arabic

"Th" , which is "ث" in Arabic alphabet, pronounced in the same way as the soft th sound in English. (think, path etc.) However, it is replaced with "s" in some dialects, so it is better to articulate it like "hoothie" or "hoosie". Therefore, Hootie and Houthi are not exactly sound alike. Personally, Are you on Team Houthi or Team Poossie would be a better comparison as only the first consonants are different, and the rest is almost the same depending on the Arabic dialect of your choice.

That I find it almost hysterical that only now are people looking at what has been going on in Yemen for years. You even get clowns saying they are with Yemen and totally missing what is going on.
A simple example, if Ecuador decided to start attacking ships going into the Panama Canal. What would happen? Also Egypt have been fairly quiet about all of this, they border the land side of things and it is money from that shipping that helps their country financially.
