Do you think evil people are born that way, or do you think they're made that way through their life experiences?

I often ponder upon that thought. I think some individuals are inherently a certain way, while others undergo changes due to life experiences. For instance, Hitler wasn't inherently cruel; his life experiences shaped him into the person he became. Though I don't have famous examples for the latter case, I can point to people I know personally or Biblical figures like Cain as examples.

I think most of the time they are made too. Though, I have seen cases of people who showed signs of sadism their whole lives. I'm not sure why, but some people really are born evil. Thankfully, they seem to be a minority

I think we're all born susceptible and capable... of bad stuff

and then, there is just some who are prone to even worse stuff...

so have these, the second, go through gruesome stuff... and they become the doers of the worst stuff...

I would say made that way rather than born. As how their parents and others around them treat them will have an effect on them. In child development class, we had learned that if you don't give a baby affection, then they'll grow up and turn into a psychopath.

I think it's more about the life experiences, but not entirely. I didn't know any nasty little kids who didn't have bad stuff going on at home, but how a person handles the stress of life has something to do with genetics, so genetics do have a big impact. Like so many things, it's not completely one thing or the other.
