@Dargil and I were having a heated discussion about what he calls our "Bloated Federal Government." Dargil wants to cut the amount of Federal employees by 75%. That part didn't really bother me, but then he said that Doctor Jill should ONLY be allowed to have two personal assistants, instead of 12. His reasoning is that since Doctor Jill doesn't actually do anything, she should be able to accomplish not doing anything with just two personal staff members. I disagree. I think the FLOTUS deserves at least 25 personal staff members to help her do whatever it is she does.

Dargil is right. She should only have 2 assistants.

I have always found it amazing here in PA. Whenever we are getting or expecting inclimate weather. The nonessential government employees have the day off! In my mind. If they are not needed in bad weather. Why are they needed in good weather conditions?

Government employment is so great (it's almost impossible to get fired, even if you're a literal Nazi), we should get EVERYONE directly on the government payroll. I mean, just because it hasn't worked anywhere else it has been imposed doesn't mean it wouldn't work in the US. I mean, look how wonderful Joe Biden's rule has been.

You know the first few presidents actually supported themself on the salary congress paid. If you want to be president you should be willing to go into personal dept and only be paid per dime.

This is particularity true of legislators whom I really don't think should be paid at all certainly not by the federal goverment except for the goverment required travel and/or whatever is actually required for them to meet and vote.
