They haven't/aren't losing. The only reason Hamas hasn't been completely turned to ashes and dust is because Israel restrains itself from inflicting unnecessary casualties more than any other military on the planet, including the US, knowing full well that it puts their own troops in greater danger. Ultimately, that ridiculous double standard they are held to by the rest of the world is about 50% of why I generally favor them when push comes to shove, since their critics are complete hypocrites on the subject.
