I doubt whether it's necessary to get into a long winded debate, but I'll say this -- when you elect individuals who openly acknowledge that they hate the country, then you shouldn't be surprised to find that you eventually no longer have a country.

The media shoved him down the collective throat of the public. I have the misfortune of living in Chicago, which is he set up shop when he arrived from Indonesia or wherever, and he formally announced that he was running, in February, 2008, from that day onward, he was the front page of the newspaper for -- at the minimum -- for the next 400 days. I remember seeing his speech in Berlin that fall, as he angrily shouted, 'First we're gonna change America, and then we're gonna change the world!' Rage, personified.

Because many people are fixated on guilt, martyrdom and the practice of attempting to legislate outcomes. The pointy headed wonks of academia are culprits, as well, and they know that they conduct an initiative of large scale indoctrination and rigidly regimented groupthink over a long enough period of time, they'll essentially be able to do what we're already seeing now -- the process by which religion is shifting from a theological format to an authoritarian, statist based model.

The current generation, mostly early, mid twenties are particularly concerning, in that they've been programmed, whether in school or otherwise, with all of the typical talking points that are so crucial to the leftist narrative. Because they're attempting to litigate a thesis which is fundamentally flawed, it is paramount to be adept in the practice of debate. My dad is completely immersed in culture of leftism, but despite his weak position, he's so quick to fire off a fusillade of csnned responses ala CNN, MSNBC, etc, that neither I nor anyone else would have chance of winning a debate against him, because similarly to the Bible Belt aficionados of decades past, liberalism/leftism represents the altar on which he kneels to place his faith in. That this philosophy/society/government has failed, literally every single time it's been into place is immaterial, in his view, because, hey -- its more fair, or equitable, as the talking heads like to say.
