Why don't women who are false accuser get punishment?

Police and law knows that she is a false rape accuser about me. And this is why I am not at jail. But she is still free too. Women like this should get the same punishment as rapists. She could end my life. I changed my City, I lost my job and dignity, even family members suspect you in this kind of cases.

Because it's very difficult to prove a negative. In my case, the detectives knew in a very short time that she was lying, but they knew they couldn't prove it so they wouldn't waste their time trying. Lack of evidence and an inconsistent story from the acuser is not proof of a false rape accusation, which is why 98% of false acccusation go unpunished.
