It depends what he was in for and how long he was in for.
The longer he was in for the more likely he is to have issues being out and the normal interactions so it could take longer to adjust.
Also I guess the reason behind what they did is probably important.
It sounds as though he is possibly having a hard time adjusting. I think maybe just be your normal self around him but keep a close eye on him, so you can keep a read on what he's possibly thinking/feeling.
Depends on the nature of the crime. Just because you went to jail doesn’t mean that you are dangerous. It just means you broke the law. Again, depending on what they did. Can they change.. sure but this country doesn’t care about rehabilitation, they just want to put the bad guys away and forget about them.
It's hard to say anything special, but most people in prison are there for small things, and they are not dangerous. Also, for most of them, one stay there is enough to fix their lives.
These people crave normality. Be natural around him, but keep your distance. They don't need and don't want any special treatment. Take your time. If you can learn why he was in prison, it could help to ease your mind.
Depends on what he was imprisoned for. Corruption? Rape? Murder?

No. Depends on what they're in for. If they committed simple assault but racked up a bunch of other charges, they can go to jail. White collar crime can just amount to embezzlement or other financial things. Not really dangerous. What if they're in there and acquitted of the charges they were accused of. People can also change if they wanted to.
If they don't love Jesus, figure out what went wrong, confess, admit, etc.. then yes... nothing has changed.
I met an X prisoner and he was in great shape. but decades prior he was extremely dangerous. he does prison ministry now.
Uhm… wouldn‘t that depend on his crime? Was he in for tax dodging or for murder 3rd degree?
He put a bomb in the street, no one got harmed tho
It’s definitely a risk. I have a friend who’s a former felon who was in the joint for some bad shit. Very mellow guy, though. You’d have never guessed. Unless someone gives him trouble, he’s very friendly. But that’s just one experience.
Everyone is dangerous. Anyone can visit violence upon another.
My cousin was a recidivist jail bird. The guy always had pussy waiting for him when he got out. What is it with women drooling over White guys in prison?
Was he in prison or the county jail? People sent to prison are usually guilty of some serious crime. You gotta be careful.
case by case scenario...
some are going to be dangerous even while still in a cell
Depends what he went in for and how long he was in prison.
People normally don't come out of prison better being surrounded by a bunch of devils in there 24/7.
Depends what he was in for, and how badly he wants to avoid going back in. Give him the benefit of the doubt but don't get too close and hold onto that pepper spray.
It depends on a lot of things
I'd Be Skeptical... xxoo
Kind of depends why he was inside...
It might depend on what he was in prison for
Some are even more dangerous
