Why do all the privatized prisons need so much money when Angola prison has turned a profit for so long? Just pick some islands with semi-arable soil to toss third strike offenders at, technically they're already on parole.

Yes, and happens to not be able to legally buy a gun. So he either stole the gun or bought it from the black market. So banning guns would not have prevented this. But to answer your question, the three strikes law shoudl be brought back. 3 felony arrests and you go away for life.

No, just need to work on helping them become better in prison over just serving time learning to be more dangures and better crimnals
By us they encrage prisnors to get a degree in some subjects and outhers locked away (becouse can be used for worst stuff)
So the idea when they come out there better and got more options in life so will not need to go to crime

This is what three strikes laws aim to reduce. That's reduce, not eliminate. Unfortunately the three strikes laws were not implemented well.

The article says he was charged with multiple crimes. That implies he was not convicted. He was in prison for an offense that barely qualified for prison time. That's not exactly a reason to hold him in prison forever. I'm surprised he was in prison in the first place.

I feel like whipping the worst criminals with lassos in prison would be very effective cause they would fear getting locked up so they won't commit a crime or commit the crime and then kill themselves due to fear, either ways it would be a win win

Executions still are legal, but depends on the state. Executions are for large scale drug operations, capitol murder, and attempted murder of government. There’s also perfenity, I probably didn’t spell right, which in war time allows the execution of spies with no POW priveleges or trial.

Yes, for the murder, execution is fitting.

For the thieves, rapists, child molesters, and whoever else I think we could save a lot of time, money, and prevent recidivism by whipping them bloody.

We need to bring back the Roman Falegrum. I can assure you, one date with that thing and these people won’t be doing what they did again. We can also identify all the thugs and scum because their backs will be heavily scared and missing large chunks.
